Muralmatics
Socially-engaged, community-based, commissioned murals.
Many thanks to Chad Swan-Badgero of Peppermint Creek Theatre Company for the kind words. đźŽ
This commission was really special to me because I was able to design with the whole exterior in mind, calling attention from the street and welcoming folks in from the parking lot in the back of the building.
These artistic folks lead with their heart everyday, and thats what its all about 🙏🏻 ❤️
Feeling grateful for this project and looking forward to some exciting commissions coming soon 👀✨

Hey Ya'll, I thought I should reintroduce myself on here. Let me know what you think!
More than a Mural🖌️
Dustin Hunt founded Muralmatics in 2018, after working as an arts educator in the public school system. His work engages communities and leaders who are interested in transforming blank spaces into treasured places.
Dustin’s approach is uniquely collaborative and grounded in the principles and practices of youth and community development. His projects have brought people and their stories to life throughout Michigan. And his low-key, yet professional approach keeps the focus on shared experience, not ego.
Muralmatics Offers
Mural Camps for Youth: Kids are designed to build confidence through creativity.
🌠New🌠Workplace Activations: Show appreciation to your team, collaborate across your company, and have some fun!
Interior and Exterior Commissions: Transform your space with a public art activation.
Although based in Michigan, Dustin is open to opportunities across the Midwest. Let’s go. 🌎
Working Together
Dustin is available for solo and group commissions as well as his signature, collaborative painting experiences. He has the experience to run an event and make sure everyone has fun and stays safe (while getting a little messy).
The first step is to reach out through the link in bio for a free consultation. Dustin is currently booking into 2027.

LANSING! Want to host a mural camp this summer?
Muralmatics is looking for a building in Lansing to serve as a host site for Muralmatics Summer 2026 Camp!
What we need:
-An outdoor wall, AT LEAST 10 feet tall and 50 feet wide
-Wall surface: concrete, painted concrete, brick, or painted brick (corrugated metal and uneven wood paneling won't work for this project)
-A willingness to collaborate (we'll work with you to make sure the design complements the building and space)
Here's how it works: We bring a group of young people together for a 3-week camp where they learn to design and paint a large-scale mural. And, your building gets a full mural. We handle creative direction, supplies, and instruction. You provide the wall and help cover a small portion of the project cost (the majority of funding comes from partners).
We wrap up each camp with a celebration to honor the students and everyone involved.
If you've ever wondered how to host a mural camp, this is it.
Interested? Send us a message. We'd love to talk.
