Michigan Wheat
Michigan Wheat is the consumer page of the Michigan Wheat Program, a non-profit organization
Michigan Wheat is the consumer page of the Michigan Wheat Program, a non-profit organization funded by the state’s wheat farmers. Wheat farmers are providing facts about wheat, including nutritional information, crop information and great recipes. They are very proud of the winter wheat crop they grow and want to share that with consumers. Michigan wheat is mainly used for pastries, such as cakes, cookies and piecrust, and for crackers and pretzels. Michigan also produces wheat berries, which are becoming a popular side to serve with meals.
