Today was one for the history books at the Capital Sportsplex!

It was a busy morning with goal delivery and assembly, followed by the very first game ever played in the facility. Seeing athletes and families fill the fields and experience the space for the first time has been incredible.

The excitement has been contagious, and we're thrilled to provide the Greater Lansing Community with an exceptional place to compete, connect, and create memories. This is just the beginning!

Floors in the support building and our Volleyball/Pickleball courts will be done by the end of the week. Final touches being wrapped up ahead of opening.

Capital SportsPlex is proud to have Next Level Training in our facility this August to run one of their summer camps. Aaron Byrd’s NLT is the go to training program for countless youth, college, professional, USMNT and USWNT players both past and present. Inflation day has been a much anticipated day for all of us. We would like to thank the countless people who came out over the past 5 days to help get us to this point. Truly a community effort.
