Let’s come together for a community yoga class and to give back to Laredo! See you on the mat 🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏽‍♂️

Rooted956 returns to the PEG to celebrate Earth Day with the community. With every $10 ticket benefiting Laredo HEAT Youth Soccer (a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to developing young athletes), organizers have set a community challenge of reaching at least 125 participants.
Doors will open at 6:00 PM. A yoga class for all levels will begin at 7:00 PM, led by a unique team of Rooted956 instructors, including studio owners Alli and Tony Flores, Cynthia Salas, Victoria (Vivi) Dominguez, and Annalise Paul.

“We’re honored every time we host a class at the studio because it allows us to connect with our members. Community events like this take it to a whole other level, as we’re able to extend our reach far beyond that and ignite a spark for someone who may not have otherwise stepped into our space,” said Tony Flores, co-owner and instructor.

“It made me emotional in the best way, hearing each instructor share from their heart at their last event,” said Serena Duarte, a studio member. “It was beautiful to have the opportunity to learn something new and different from each one.”

Alli Flores added, “We are so ready to soak in the stars together and be intentional about our commitment to Do Good. Be Good. all year long—not just on Earth Day. If there’s any doubt in your heart about signing up, I hope you push it aside and be brave. Come flow with us!”

“Yoga ha cambiado mi vida. Me ha transformado. Estoy llena de gratitud por poder compartir sus beneficios y deseo que cada persona que llegue al tapete sea transformada con esta experiencia,” said Cynthia Salas, instructor.

Also taking place from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM is a vendor market featuring nourishing treats such as açaí bowls from Creo Nutrition Bar, strawberry matcha mini muffins from La Vie con Sabor, fresh-squeezed lemonade and mini pancake bites from Patty Cakes, and on-site custom embroidery hosted by Made by Graze. Additional vendors include Lovely You (statement jewelry), Julia Grace Fragrances (vegan, non-toxic perfumes), Red Line Sweets (sour grapes and sweets), and Sana Tentación (healthy snacks).
