Happy Teller Week - celebrating our beloved tellers in our McAllen Branch!!!

TCB-McAllen’s Connie Gonzalez delivered a donation in the amount of $2000 to “Driscoll Childrens’ Hospital Project Artwork”. The sponsorship supports current and former cancer patients in creating the well-known cards. Proceeds of the sales of the holiday cards help fund educational scholarships that play a vital role in increasing awareness and growth of the program. Texas Community Bank is honored to be a part of this worthy cause.

In conjunction with Junior Achievement, representatives of Texas Community Bank - Laredo made presentations at George Kazen Elementary School this week. The students were introduced to the many roles people play in a community and how communities work to meet shared needs. Thanks to the following TCB staff and the teachers/classes who hosted our presentations!

Texas Community Bank was proud to host the WBCA announcement this morning for their Mr. South Texas honoree, Tracy O. King. Representative King served in the Texas State Legislature for roughly 30 years until his retirement in 2025. King represented much of the South Texas region and his many legislative contributions as well as community services are much appreciated and proudly recognized. Congratulations Mr. South Texas 2027 - Tracy O. King!

TCB-McAllen was pleased to provide funds for Proyecto Juan Diego to purchase backpacks for the children of families participating in the organization’s programs. Proyecto Juan Diego is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower low-income families to be healthy and self-sufficient members of the community through educational programs, family activities, and preventive health services.
