Wave Kava is the first worker owned cooperative kava bar in Florida. We believe that kavatenders as skilled collaborators – not disposable employees.
With our vaporwave aesthetic, amazing kava tenders, and best quality product around – you’ll see the future of the kava community. Wave Kava, established in 2021, is the ONLY kava bar where owners and kavatenders share labor and profits equally. We offer the highest quality tea, while giving our partners, the kavatenders, both the means and the economic incentive to cultivate an atmosphere of cooperation and belonging. Kavatenders are tasked with innovating new products and cultivating an atmosphere where guests feel comfortable and valued. We utilize all of the unique skills that our team possesses to fairly determine what constitutes a healthy workplace, and the path to what kava and community can be.
