Homecoming is one of our favorite traditions at IRCS, and we look forward to having our alumni back on campus to celebrate with us NEXT FRIDAY, Oct. 9th!
Alumni can join us in the Alumni Tent at 6:00 PM for an evening of Friday Night Lights, Eagle pride, and reconnecting with the people and place that were part of your IRCS story.

New this year, we will honor the inaugural inductees into the IRCS Athletics Hall of Fame, celebrating individuals whose accomplishments and contributions have made a lasting impact on our school and community.

The best thing about Wednesdays? Chapel! Today, we welcomed Dr. Hobbs as he taught about King Solomon and the gifts God has for us: Sound minds. Servants’ hearts. Skilled hands. We sang songs to God and about God. And we celebrated students of the month. It is, indeed, a great day to be an Eagle!

Preschoolers got to meet Major, one of the amazing K-9 officers for Hillsborough county this morning. They learned about how he helps officers by using his speed, strength, and sense of smell to help protect the officers and keep people safe. They learned that he gets to go to school to train every day too. Thanks for all you do, Major! Woof!

Serving Saturday! The Eagles Cheerleaders are back in the community, serving our neighbors. The girls packed 1325 luminaries and 195 Rudolph hot cocoa mixes for Lotz Blessings. These are used for fundraising to help support their nonprofit to continue their mission to serve Title One schools, homeless, single moms, and many others in our community.

This morning, IRCS students, teachers, and staff gathered in the courtyard to pray. Pastor Asa led us, recognizing that there is power in prayer. Our students led in worship and prompts. We prayed for our school, our county, our nation, and all who haven’t yet met the Living God Who loves us so much. We are so thankful for a nation where we can pray freely, and for leaders who show us the One True God, Whose mercies never fail.

Three of our Eagles auditioned for All State Band this weekend! We will wait for the results coming in a few weeks. The rebuild in our Fine Arts program is on fire 🔥 So proud of these Eagles, stepping up and stepping out with their talents.

Grateful to have a seat at the table. 🇺🇸

Parents, the choice you have made for your children matters, and it is being defended, strengthened, and prayed over well beyond our campus.

This week, Dr. Chris Hobbs, Mr. Matthew Beasley, and Mrs. Stephanie Vogel joined Christian school leaders from across the nation at the ACSI Public Policy & Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C.

They listened, learned, and prayed alongside educators who share a common calling: to protect religious freedom and strengthen Christian education for the next generation.

Christian schools are growing, and their voice is being welcomed in conversations that shape our culture and our laws. Florida stands out in that story. Families here have real freedom to choose an education rooted in biblical truth, and leaders across the country are paying attention.

IRCS’ presence in DC allowed us to learn, serve, and represent your family well. "Seek the welfare of the city... and pray to the Lord on its behalf" (Jeremiah 29:7).
