is a culturally grounded nonprofit organization with a mission to offer educational and mental health programs and services to children of African descent, ages 5–21, and to educate and empower their surrounding communities. The organization is deeply committed to conducting research that highlights the positive impacts of African-centered education and psychology, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the psychological, educational, and cultural well-being of Black children and families.

WE NEED TO BE HONEST... about what our students are actually being prepared for. If we want them to be concerned and competent with building, we need to train for that on purpose. Culture should shape how people function, not just what they are exposed to.
