Brown butter is one of those little things that makes a BIG difference.
Butter gets cooked until it turns golden, nutty, and ridiculously fragrant, adding this deep caramelized flavor you just don’t get from regular butter.
It’s one of my favorite ways to make a cookie taste just a little more special. 🤎

I really do love having my cookies individually wrapped.
They stay fresh longer and it just makes them so easy to grab whenever you want one. Toss one in your bag, take one to work, save one for later… all the things.
Plus, if you’re anything like me, having them wrapped might keep you from eating three at once. Might. 😂

You can save the website right to your home screen so ordering cookies, checking pop-up dates, and seeing what’s available is literally one tap away.
Just open the site in Chrome, add it to your home screen, and look for the little bird.
Tiny bakery app vibes without me actually having to build an app. I’ll take it. 😂

Mockingbird Bakes got a little makeover!
Same cookies, same girl behind the mixer, just a fresh new look! I've been working behind the scenes on a new website, and it's finally live!
There are still a few little things I'm tweaking, but I couldn't wait any longer to share it with you. Go take a peek, look around, and let me know what you think!

No pickups or pop-up this weekend! 🤍
I’m going to be tucked away in the kitchen working on a pretty big order and getting everything ready for our next pop-up. Apparently I’ve reached the part of owning a bakery where my “weekend off” still involves a whole lot of cookies. 😂
But I’ll be back Saturday, 10/3 at Junbi in Cedar Park and I’m already excited about the lineup!
