Remember all you equinox and terrain owners, check your pcv tubes in this freezing weather before you hit the road. Otherwise you may blow your rear main seal. If so i can get you fixed up with a new one or even a new engine if you dont catch it in time.

This is what you're doing to your engine not changing your oil and going 10k miles or more between changes. Car had 116k miles on it.

Changed things up and did a full service on a 2016 t770, fuel filter, oil, oil filter, inner and outer air filters, charge pressure filter, hydraulic fluid filter, hydraulic reservoir cap/breather, adjusted the drive belt and greased it all up.

After customer did thier own timing job, the car had a permanent p0116 code for intake cam correlation to crank. Car would build boost at and idle and had no brake pedal. Retraced the customers work and found it to be 2 teeth off on the crank timing. She's now back home and running great again.

Recently I brought back a 2010 chevy cobalt ss turbo. Car was said to have died on them at a light. After being purchased by a customer who was hoping for an easy fix, it was brought to me and it just was a snow ball from the start. Jumped time, destroyed all but 2 rockers, engine was full of metal due to the chain guides being broken for so long. I had a very nice cylinder head that just had build up on the intake valves (normal for direct injection). After a good clean up, new rod bearings, head gasket, head bolts, spark plugs, balance shaft chain kit, timing chain kit, phasers, solenoids, oil , filter, it's back up and running like new again. Topped it off with some fresh 93 gas. Very happy with the results of it .

Equinox had a timing chain done and they didn't remove the oil pan to remove any trash from the old broken guides, resulting in it plugging up the oil pick up, starving it for oil, spinning number 3 rod bearing. Full replacement for it now.
