You all heard about Elvis being spotted flipping burgers at a burger joint, well have your heard the one about James Dean painting tables at LARC? We would like to give a BIG Shoutout to James Dean for taking the time out of his day to stain one of the tables at the field. He had some leftover stain from building his fence and thought to use the remaining stain at the field. It looks great!. It looks so good now I think we will need to do the rest of them including the picnic tables.

*UPDATE* SALE IS OVER! Everything has been sold and they would like to thank everyone for all your interest and helping liquidate this collection.

I found Ricks little honey hole over in Corvallis. A living estate sale that has been going on since Saturday. They started with over a 150 planes and all that goes along with the hobby. There are still some great opportunities to be had as seen in the photos below. They said stop on by or you can call number on flyer. Sale is on through the week.

The Yellow Jackets are a little out of control this year. In an attempt to lessen the threat, traps have been strategically placed around the flying site. Please do not move these.

The RC Skydivers are available again. These look like fun and would make for some interesting contests at the field.

A local resident reached out to the club and wanted to know if anyone had an interest in a couple Kits. If your a kit builder or ever wanted to enjoy it for the first time then these would be a good choice. Keep in mind it would make a good holiday gift for you or someone who loves building. They are asking $200 for both, which is a fair price for a quality j3 piper kit alone or even a box of balsa wood alone. I don't know much about the Total Kaos but what I've read about it is good stuff. Please msg us and we can put you in contact with the one offering these up.
