Founded in Lexington in 2010 by Wes Keltner and Ronnie Hobbs, Gun has spent more than a decade building horror titles with some of the biggest franchises in the genre. Their newest, co-published with developer IllFonic and made with input from John Carpenter and longtime franchise producer Malek Akkad, went live September 8 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

It pairs a single-player campaign told from Michael Myers' side of the story with a 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer mode set in Haddonfield on Halloween night, 1978.

A good reminder that companies with this kind of reach get built here, not just on the coasts.
