Looking for a puppy who’s equal parts smart, playful, and adorable? Meet Sea, a handsome little guy from our Salt Litter who’s ready to add some flavor in his forever home!

Sea is a quick learner who loves making his people proud. Whether he’s earning treats or soaking up praise, he’s always excited to learn something new. He’s making great progress with potty training.

This sweet boy is crate trained and actually enjoys relaxing in his crate when he needs some downtime. He’s also learning leash manners and is picking things up with ease.

When it’s playtime, Sea is all in! He loves toys of every kind… although fair warning—he’s a bit of a toy destroyer, so durable toys are definitely his favorite! He enjoys romping around with other dogs but also appreciates having some quiet time to recharge.

Sea is great with kids and does well with other dogs. Cats are still an unknown. Like any young puppy, he’s still working on a few things, including barking at his reflection or unfamiliar dogs until he realizes they’re friends, not foes.

Meet Napoleon Dynamite, the legend bred for his skills in magic, charm, and hitting some "sweet jumps." Just like his iconic movie namesake, this goofy puppy is packed with personality and completely impossible not to love. Whether he is zooming around the yard or practicing his nunchuck skills, Napoleon is always ready to make new friends and show off his undeniable star power.

This smart boy is currently working on his crate training and potty training, and honestly, he is doing pretty flippin' good. Napoleon is incredibly food-motivated and will do just about anything for a tasty snack, so a little consistency and a few treats go a long way. Seriously, if you have treats, he will be asking, "Are you gonna eat those tots?"

Napoleon absolutely loves other dogs and truly thrives when he has playful canine friends around. He also does well with confident cats who will not be intimidated by his puppy enthusiasm. However, please note that he is currently not prepared for a llama sibling named Tina, especially if she refuses to eat her food.

Napoleon is looking for a loving home to share a life with someone who appreciates a good "your mom goes to college" reference. He has the kind of quirky, loyal, and heartwarming personality that makes every single day more entertaining. This sweet 2-year-old girl is looking for a foster family! At around 52 pounds, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion with a heart full of love. After coming into the shelter as a stray, she deserves the chance to experience the comfort and safety of a home.

She’s a happy, wiggly girl who loves people and is always ready to brighten your day with her sweet personality. She’s done well with other dogs and has been nonreactive around cats, making her a wonderful candidate for many households.

By giving her a temporary place to land, you’ll help her decompress, learn what home life is all about, and prepare for her forever family. We provide the supplies and medical care—you provide the love.

Pedro is a sweet and silly long legged boy enjoying his second chance at life after he was pulled from a euthanasia list. If you’re looking for a companion that will snuggle and love on you all the time then you’ve come to the right guy!

Pedro’s favorite things are cuddling with his person, chewing on his favorite bone, and rolling around in the sunshine! He is eager to bond with his human and furry friends for a lifetime of love. Pedro is working on his crate, and leash training and making progress every day! While Pedro does love to spend the day as a full time couch potato he still loves a good play session where you will get to enjoy his goofy baby deer hops.

They’ve been through more than any dog ever should, and now they deserve a chance to experience love, stability, and kindness. Fostering gives them the opportunity to decompress, learn what it’s like to be part of a family, and prepare for their forever homes.

We know opening your home can feel like a big commitment, but our rescue will provide support every step of the way. All they need is a safe place and someone willing to show them that people can be kind.

🐿️ Meet Alvin! 🐾

If you’re looking for a best friend who’s equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle bug, Alvin might just be your perfect match!

This handsome pup is as smart as they come and is always eager to learn something new. He’s already fully potty trained, does well in his crate (as long as there isn’t a cozy blanket or crate pad tempting him into the occasional accident!). He’s still working on leash manners and ignoring exciting distractions during walks, but he’s making great progress.

Alvin absolutely adores kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and enjoys romping around the yard to burn off all that puppy energy. He’s also met cats and is more curious than anything, but doesn’t seem overly interested in them.

Speaking of energy… Alvin is definitely a puppy! He loves toys, bones, tug-of-war, fetch, and anything that keeps him busy. Once he’s had his fun, he’s more than happy to settle in with his people—preferably right in your lap, even if he doesn’t quite realize how big he is!

Alvin’s friendly personality shines wherever he goes. He loves meeting new people of all ages, makes friends easily, and is always ready for his next adventure. Like any growing puppy, he’s still learning not to jump up when he’s excited and to stay focused during walks, but with consistency and positive reinforcement, he’ll continue to thrive.

Every day we are asked to help give dogs a loving home until they find their forever homes. We are reached out to help dogs on the euthanasia list, dogs newly surrendered and scared, momma dogs trying to raise their babies in a shelter, and more. Emails, chats, various rescue groups it never stops.

We have 3 dogs that we want to help. Two of these dogs are in a shelter. One of these dogs are with a temp foster but needs a permanent foster. We can’t help dogs if we do not have homes willing to open their doors. Right now we need people who are can give dogs a loving place to land until they find their forever families.

Nellie, Sienna, and Orlando need us. They need a home! Here are some details about their personality:

Nellie (brindle dog) - 8 yrs old. Has bounced around temporary fosters but needs a permanent foster until she finds her perfect family. Nellie would do better in a home where she is the only dog or atleast a home that understands slow intros. If we don’t find Nellie a permanent foster soon she has to go to boarding and that will not be good this sweet girl. Nellie is loving, affectionate. Potty trained. Crate trained. Knows her basic manners.

Sienna (gray dog) - In the shelter. Used for breeding then dumped. 2-3 yrs old. 45-50 lbs. Good with dogs. Good with kids. Good with all people. Loves car rides and affection. Just needs a home that will help settle in until she finds her forever family.

Orlando (gray and white dog) - 2-3 yrs old. Dog tested. No cats. Good with kids. Good with people. Needs a home to let him decompress, get acclimated to a home until he finds his forever family.

Here is what we ask of our fosters:
-That they bring their dog to adoption events around the Central KY area. Mainly on the weekends with some week day events.
-Our dogs go to our preferred vet in Richmond, KY. We cover all medical costs and can schedule any vet appointments around a time that works for the foster.
-Work with their dog on any training or manners that needs to be addressed before going to their forever home: potty training, crate training, basic manners.

We provide:
-All food, crates, access to our storage unit in Lexington with supplies.
-We cover all medical costs: spay/neuter, monthly preventative, vaccinations
-Communication with all fosters as a way to share advice and ideas.

🖤 Meet Obsidian! 🖤

If you’re looking for a puppy with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough energy to keep you smiling every day, Obsidian is your girl!

This sweet pup is all puppy—curious about everything, always ready for her next adventure, and convinced that every toy (and maybe a few things that aren’t toys!) deserves a taste test. She loves tug-of-war, wrestling, and an exciting game of “keep away.” Whether she’s playing with people, other dogs, or entertaining herself, Obsidian knows how to have fun.

Obsidian is a smart cookie, too! She’s crate trained, doing great learning leash manners, and is incredibly eager to please. She thrives on treats and praise, making training a fun experience for everyone. Potty training has been a bit more challenging, but she’s making progress, and with consistency and patience, she’s sure to get there.

When the zoomies finally wear off, Obsidian transforms into the sweetest cuddle bug. She loves snuggling up with her people and is incredibly loyal to those she loves. She also happens to be an absolute superstar on car rides, making her the perfect adventure buddy!

Obsidian is great with kids, cats, and other dogs, so she’ll fit into many different types of homes. Like any growing puppy, she’s still working on keeping all four paws on the floor instead of jumping up to say hello and remembering that feet aren’t chew toys when people are walking by.

Clooney is a sweet, soulful boy who’s ready to find a home full of love, comfort, and cuddles. He’s past the wild puppy stage but still enjoys his playful moments—and he knows exactly when it’s time to relax and settle in. Clooney truly deserves a home where he can be loved deeply and return that love tenfold.

🚨 From the shelter euthanasia list… to living his best life. Meet Tempo! ❤️🐾

Tempo’s story could have ended before it ever really began, but thankfully, he got his second chance. Now that he’s settling into his foster home, it’s safe to say he’s making the most of it!

This handsome guy is the definition of a gentleman. He’s house trained, sleeps through the night, is wonderful in his crate, and walks beautifully on a leash. Truly, he’s making foster life easy!

Tempo loves other dogs! He may get a little excited when meeting new friends, but he quickly settles down and is incredibly respectful. His absolute favorite thing? 🎾 Tennis balls! He could play fetch for hours, but once he’s had his fun, he’s perfectly happy to curl up on the couch for a well-earned nap.

He’s incredibly sweet, loves soaking up pets, and we’re just starting to discover his softer side—he’s becoming quite the snuggle bug. ❤️

We are so thankful Tempo got the chance to leave the shelter and show everyone what an amazing dog he truly is. Stay tuned as this perfect gentleman continues to shine… we have a feeling his forever family is going to fall head over heels for him. 🐶

Tempo is not available for adoption yet. He will be soon though! For now we are continuing to let him settle in. Once he is neutered he will be ready for his forever home!
