Matchstick Goods

Breakfast has never looked this good. Enjoy your fresh berries in the morning out of our brand new berry bowl. Our students spent six weeks designing this product over the summer and finally brought it to life. Its eye-catching design will make you BERRY happy.

Check out this unique fruit cup! 🍊🍓🍒
We love to see what students and staff make when they have the freedom to create one-of-a-kind pieces in the studio. Featuring a smooth white glaze on the inside and cute hand-glazed fruit on the outside, this cup is perfect for your next tea or juice.

Handmade by Blayne and glazed by Michele, this custom vase is a special gift for our friend Erica Friis. Erica served as our interior designer for the classroom renovations that Common Good’s Elementary Program received this summer. We hoped to capture some of the creativity, thoughtfulness, and beauty she brought to our spaces through this design.

This week we’re finishing up an order we’ve been working for The House of Marigold 📦 We can’t wait to see all the amazing meals that get served up on these!

This summer, our team got a crash course in screen printing! Michele led us through creating our sketches and digitizing them in Adobe Illustrator. Then Dan demonstrated how to expose and develop screens, and Blayne showed the team how to print with them ✨

Over the summer, our students have dedicated creative time to make or glaze whatever strikes them. It's good practice to see how our clay works in different shapes or how layering glazes turns out. We're excited with how this latest batch of free time pieces turned out!

We enjoyed making these beautiful mugs and ornaments for our friends at First United Methodist Church of Lexington! We always love the opportunity to make custom pieces for our church partners.

School is back and so are our Student Employees! They’re starting off the semester trying something new: making with a white clay instead of our usual brown clay. We love having our studio full again!
