These photos highlight Day 3 of our three-day Chainsaw Safety Training Clinic in Georgetown.

Instructor John Tidwell of Forest Applications guided participants through hands-on limbing, bucking, debris removal, spring poles, site assessment and safe cutting techniques. He also emphasized the importance of wedges, telling the group, “I don’t cut without them. They are just as important as the chainsaw.”

Participants said they left with new techniques and a better understanding of how to work safely and confidently in the field.

Interested in attending a future clinic? See the course flyer in the final image for details and contact information.
