This year marks an incredible milestone for our founder, Jon Sisk - 50 years in business.

Over the years, Jon has made it a priority to recognize the people who make Audio Authority what it is, celebrating employee milestones and showing genuine appreciation for their dedication and hard work.

This time, we had the opportunity to turn the tables.

As a small token of our gratitude, we surprised Jon with a plaque honoring his 50 years of leadership, service, and commitment to Audio Authority. His vision, integrity, and unwavering care for both our customers and our team have shaped our company for five decades.

Congratulations, Jon, and thank you for the example you've set and the legacy you continue to build. Here's to this remarkable achievement, and to many more years ahead!

Celebrating Our Team's Milestones!

In June, we had the privilege of celebrating three incredible employees whose dedication and commitment have helped shape our organization.

Kevin Brown – 40 Years of outstanding service
Robert Collins – 20 Years of dedication and excellence
Phillip Shacreaw – 5 Years of valued contributions

Thank you, Kevin, Robert, and Phillip, for your hard work, loyalty, and the positive impact you've made every day. Your years of service are a testament to your commitment and to the strong team we've built together.

We also honored Tanner Shuping for his certification in supply chain management, and said farewell to Debbie Parkhurst, who is retiring (for real this time) after 41 years!

Many manufacturers moved production overseas over the past several decades.

We chose a different path.

For fifty years, Audio Authority has continued designing, building, testing, and supporting our products from our headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.

Keeping engineering and manufacturing under one roof gives us something that's difficult to outsource:

As America approaches its 250th anniversary, we're proud to continue investing in American manufacturing and the people who make it possible every day.

Every great innovation begins with a simple question:

Our very first product—the Model One Speaker Comparator—wasn't created because we wanted to manufacture electronics.

It was created because customers deserved a better way to compare speakers. By matching sound levels automatically, listeners could hear the real differences instead of simply choosing the loudest speaker.

That same philosophy still guides us today.

Whether we're designing retail experiences, drive-up communication systems, aviation ground power equipment, or custom electronics, we begin by understanding the problem—and engineering a better solution.

Innovation isn't about chasing technology.

It's about making technology work better for people.

Another milestone at Audio. Saying goodbye to my friend and long time coworker, Debbie - last day before retirement. I hired her in 1984 fresh out of the Army. She has held various position in our factory. When my now middle-aged sons were just kids, she supervised them working in our business and has some interesting stories about that. She will always be part of the Audio Authority family.

This month we're celebrating a milestone that few companies ever reach.

In 1976, Audio Authority began as a small hi-fi retailer in Lexington, Kentucky. When our founder couldn't find the right equipment to fairly compare speakers, he built it himself.

That first invention launched something much bigger—a company dedicated to solving problems through engineering.

Today, fifty years later, we continue designing and manufacturing innovative technology right here in Kentucky.
As our nation prepares to celebrate America's 250th birthday, we're especially proud to celebrate another milestone rooted in American ingenuity, craftsmanship, and entrepreneurship.

Here's to fifty years of innovation—and the next fifty to come!

50 years ago today, Audio Authority Corporation was established as an electronics business in Central Kentucky. In 2 days, we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. So July 2026 is very significant for us. We are so blessed and grateful to live and work in this great land of opportunity.
