Happy Anniversary, Steven White!

A Williamsburg native, Steven White joined our team five years ago.
Since then, he’s brought his unmatched attention to detail to our reconditioning team. A consistent producer and a pillar of reliability, he’s helped the department reach many challenging goals.

When asked about his favorite part of the job, Steven says, “It’s the people.” He adds that it’s great to work towards a common goal, especially with co-workers that are so dedicated.

Reconditioning Team Lead Toby Haynes says "We’re incredibly glad Steve is on our team! He stays motivated, jumps right in to help everyone, and keeps a great attitude through it all."

When not on the clock, you can find Steven enjoying his favorite hobby; fishing.

Happy Anniversary, Tonya Banfield!

Lexington native Tonya Banfield joined our team six years ago and quickly became an integral part of our success. As a key member of our reconditioning department, her extensive background in automotive detailing has proven invaluable to our internal operations.

Tonya is results-driven. Her "can-do" attitude and outstanding work ethic make her a driving force in meeting our team goals and maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction.

When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Tonya doesn't hesitate: “The people. I look forward to working with them every day.”

Happy Anniversary to Sean Pangelinan!

Originally from Saipan, in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Sean joined our team in 2024. He seamlessly transitioned into the fast-paced environment and quickly developed a fascination with the automotive industry. As a professional Condition Report Writer that fascination continues to fuel his pursuit of industry knowledge. “You can live in a car but you can’t drive a house”, he says.
When asked about the most noticeable industry changes, he says “Definitely the amount of electric and EV cars”.
Sean’s unique career background includes criminal justice and law, metal forging, and the hospitality industry.
Commercial Manager Chad Hall says, “Sean has been a great addition to the team. He recently moved over to the lot assistant role and he’s done fantastic work. I appreciate his willingness to get better every day.”

Sean values the flexibility and independence of his role, the strong sense of camaraderie among his colleagues, and the immense learning opportunities. His desire to learn, team-player mentality, and positive attitude make him an integral part of our team.

Happy Anniversary to Shelly Nealy!

Joining the ADESA Lexington team in 2016, Office Manager Shelly Nealy fondly reflects over the last ten years. “The positive energy here is addictive… especially on sale day,” she says.

With ten years of automotive retail experience and just as many in finance, Shelly’s background has well-equipped her for her current role. Beginning her career with Team Lex as a Fleet/Lease Administrator, she later transitioned to serve in the accounting department.

While she enjoys the fast pace of her role, she says, “It’s the people—every colleague and every customer—that I enjoy the most. We are like a family here.”
General Manager Jason Martin says ‘Shelly is simply amazing. She keeps things moving, keeps me organized, keeps the office running smoothly and handles every task with professionalism, dedication, patience and genuine care for those around her. I’m beyond grateful for being blessed with having Shelly as an integral part of Team Lexington.’

Shelly, a native of Lexington, notes that she has “noticed huge changes since online sales were introduced. Online buying platforms have radically changed the remarketing industry.” She reflects that “this shift has made it easier for our customers to get the inventory they need.”

When not at work, Shelly enjoys reading and spending quality time with friends and family.
