Harper Ridge Thoroughbreds

Harper Ridge is a family owned Thoroughbred breeding and restarting business.
Here at Harper Ridge we specialize in breeding top quality horses for the racing
industry. Harper Ridge also provides a restart program to OTTB"S looking to
move into the next chapter of their career. Our broodmares are selected based
on certain criteria and not always for their race record. Our mares reside in KY
and are looked after by the wonderful Watershed Equine and Tracey Keeler,
while our rescues head to NC for restarting under the careful and watchful eye
of Crystal Dunlap. We work together with wonderful professionals in each field
to ensure a bright and full future for our wonderful horses. We have been rescuing and restarting thoroughbreds since July of 2009
starting with Harper, who happens to be the namesake of our farm. This year
will be the first year we are dipping our fingers into the breeding pool so wish
us luck in this new chapter of the Harper Ridge

Fashionably Cool is a 2012 model around 16h. No vices and easy keeper. She is sound and DOES qualify for the RRP broodmare division.
She is open but could be prepped for Southern Hemisphere. She currently has a solid Maximum Mischief c**t foaled 4/03 so she needs to stay at her current location until we wean him in September.
This mare is a stakes producer.
Her Drain the Clock c**t sold for 120k at the spring OBS sale sale this year after working under tack in 10 sec.

Our sweet boy Retriever found a fantastic new home! Cant wait to see how he progresses.
Congratulations to the new connections for Federal Hill. He is a wonderful class A kind horse and I hope you have many wonderful years together!
Well 2014 really is the year of the horse! Harper ridge started out only a few short years ago with 1 restart from the track at a time and now we consistently have between 3-4 restarts, 4-6 broodmares and now our very own race horse! Working on getting our own racing silks for our next races! Harper Ridge is definitely moving up in the world!
One of our boys Retriever is on his 30day trial. Fingers crossed everything goes well and he finds his permanent home.
