Sayre’s 2026 AP Results Are In!

We are proud to share that Sayre students continue to excel at a high level on their Advanced Placement (AP) exams! With an impressive 85% senior class pass rate and overall 80% pass rate, our students once again demonstrated strong mastery across a wide range of subjects.

Head of Upper School Clint Calzini shared, “I’m incredibly proud of our students and faculty. This year’s AP results reflect the deep content knowledge of our teachers and the dedication they bring to supporting students every step of the way. Our students rose to the challenge and invested the time and effort required to succeed on these national exams."

A hallmark of Sayre’s AP program is that all students enrolled in an AP course are required to take the corresponding AP Exam to receive credit on their transcript—underscoring the academic challenge and accountability that set Sayre apart.

At Sayre School, teaching students to make their mark goes hand-in-hand with teaching them to protect the world around us. From Lower School units on insects to Upper School studies of ecosystems, our faculty weave environmental education and stewardship into daily lesson plans and activities.

Sayre Middle School students spent part of their summer exploring the history, culture, and cuisine of Italy and Greece!

In Italy, students worked alongside local chefs to prepare a traditional Neapolitan meal. To their surprise, they made potato gnocchi from scratch and later enjoyed it with homemade red sauce.

In Rome, the group stepped back in time to experience the life of a gladiator through hands-on demonstrations and workshops focused on how gladiators lived, trained, and competed.

Their final LEAP—Learning through Exploration and Active Participation—experience took place at a Greek restaurant, where students enjoyed traditional cuisine, watched Greek line dancing, and even learned a few steps themselves!

What an unforgettable way to experience history and culture beyond the classroom.

This year's graduating seniors will head to 31 colleges and universities across 17 states and the United Kingdom, taking with them more than $15.8 million in college-sponsored, four-year merit scholarships, with 72 percent of the class receiving an award.
