Need more reasons why going to church matters? πŸ‘‡

Go to church to mentor others β€” and be mentored. (Titus 2:2-6)
We all have a responsibility to pour into someone else. And most of us need someone pouring into us too.

Go to church to train up your children. (Proverbs 22:6)
Skipping church means skipping a key part of guiding your kids in the way they should go.

Go to church to love one another. (Galatians 6:10)
This verse says to do good "especially" to fellow believers. But how can you love people you never see?

Come visit with us β€” let's share our love of Jesus and the family of God together. We'd love to have you! πŸ’›

πŸ“… This Sunday, September 20th is National Back to Church Day β€” come worship with us!

We'll save you a seat. πŸͺ‘

3 More Biblical Reasons to Go to Church πŸ“–βœοΈ

1️⃣ To be used by God for good! (1 Corinthians 12:7)
This verse calls spiritual gifts "the manifestation of the Spirit." Their purpose? The common good. Don't waste your incredible gift β€” use what God gave you for the good of others.

2️⃣ Because you're part of the body of Christ! (Romans 12:5)
You're part of something bigger than yourself. Together, we make up the body of Christ.

3️⃣ To partner in the Gospel! (Philippians 1:5)
Do you believe the gospel is good news? Do you believe the world needs it? Here's the truth β€” you can't reach the world alone. It takes partnership with the saints.

πŸ‘‰ Join us this Sunday, September 20th for National Back to Church Sunday. We'd love to see you there! πŸ™Œ

Ever wonder why church actually matters? Here are 3 more reasons:
πŸ“– To hear God's Word preached (Hebrews 4:12)
βš”οΈ To be sharpened β€” and sharpen others (Proverbs 27:17)
✨ To put your spiritual gifts to work (Romans 12:6a)
This Sunday, Sept 20th @ 11:00 is National Back to Church Sunday β€” and we're saving you a seat! πŸ™Œ

πŸ™πŸ½ Join us for our monthly night of prayer. πŸ™πŸ½
Monday, September 28th. 6:00pm

"And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him." β€”Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)

Faithful prayer involves a sense of expectation. That’s not to say that we should have a smug assurance that God will give us everything we ask for when we ask for it. Rather, we should approach God knowing that our heavenly Father will give us His full attention. He is deeply concerned about our lives, our circumstances, and our needs. He promises to respond to our prayers according to His will. And His will is far greater than anything we can conceive of. Ultimately, His answers to our prayers will result in our increased wisdom, preparation, joy, fulfillment, and peace.

That’s how we please God with our faith.

How can you unlock the full potential of prayer in your life?

✝️ WHY GATHER TOGETHER? ✝️

Because God tells you to. (Hebrews 10:25a)
So you won't be hardened by sin. (Hebrews 3:12-13)
Because you need encouragement β€” and others need yours. (Hebrews 10:25b)

Church isn't optional. It's one of God's primary ways of protecting your heart from growing hard toward sin. πŸ›‘οΈ

And look closely at that word in Hebrews β€” "encouraging one another."

One another.

Showing up isn't just about what you receive. It's about what you bring. Your presence encourages someone else's faith. Your absence is felt too.

You need the body of Christ. And the body of Christ needs you. πŸ™

See you Sunday. πŸ‘‡
