Update for Lincoln County Credit Union Members:

For our clients who are members of Lincoln County Credit Union, I wanted to share a quick update.

After speaking with the credit union, I was able to submit a letter from their leadership team to Farmers Insurance leadership regarding concerns that the recent outage may impact clients enrolled in AutoPay.

At this time, leadership is reviewing the information and will be providing guidance on how situations such as potential late fees or duplicate payments may be handled if a client chooses to make a manual payment while AutoPay processing is affected.

As soon as I receive an update, I will share it here on our page.

The idea is simple: thousands of hearing aids are no longer being used and remain forgotten in drawers, while people in our communities need hearing technology but cannot afford it.
**What if Rotary could connect these two realities?**

Second Chance aims to collect hearing aids that are no longer being used and bring them to Guatemala. Here, a professional team will **clean, evaluate, and test each device, and determine which patient could appropriately benefit from it**, followed by professional fitting and delivery.

We do not simply want to “donate hearing aids.” We want to do it responsibly, ensuring that **the right hearing aid reaches the right patient.** 🦻💙

And this is where the strength of our Rotary family can make a difference.
Perhaps someone recently upgraded their hearing aids. Perhaps they belonged to a loved one. Perhaps they have simply been sitting unused for years.

To one person, it may be a small device they no longer need.

**To someone else, it could mean hearing their family again, joining a conversation, studying, working, and reconnecting with their community.**

When was the last time you reviewed your policy for your rental property?

Recently a prospective client requested a quote for a duplex.

After reviewing their current policy declarations, we noticed a few critical discrepancies in how it was being rated:

Primary Residence: Listed as the owner’s primary residence, which is incorrect.

Owner Occupied: Listed as owner-occupied, but the owner doesn’t live there.

Occupancy Type: Listed as family members only, but it is actually occupied by non-family tenants.

If your policy isn't properly written, your rates are inaccurate and—more importantly—it could give an insurance carrier grounds to deny a claim when you need them most.
