Creations Redeemed

With some repair work and a whole lot of Wise Owl Furniture Salve, this wash stand is ready to serve as a nightstand. Is it like new? No, it bears the marks of the 100+ years of service but that is what makes it special.

These projects are why I love this hobby. What most people saw as beyond hope, I saw a gem waiting to be restored.

Working a day job sure gets in the way of completing projects in a timely manner.

This is nearing the end....

It has been a hot minute since I have worked on redeeming furniture. I found this at the local auction and everyone was overlooking it because multiple joints are falling apart and there is cracked wood from neglect.

Stay tuned for its transformation.

I will miss the Libby gals tonight since I did not set up a vendor spot for the Girl's Night Out. Hope you all enjoy yourselves!

That being said, I have had more time to work on my own Christmas gifts. The more relaxed pace has been welcomed this year.

Wise Owl Clearance.

I am no longer carrying the Wise Owl products but want to express my gratitude for your support so I am drastically cutting the prices to clear my shelves.

I will be selling them below my wholesale price so if you are needing anything, reach out to see if I have it in stock.

For those of you that I got hooked on the Furniture Salve, there is good news. You can buy direct from the company, www.wiseowlpaint.com.

I bought this trunk at the 3 Mile Auction and it was missing the lid. In order to complete my vision, I not only made a top but also feet. Then I nourished it with Wise Owl Paint Furniture Salve.

LOVE IT!! It will reside at the end of my guest bed to hold the linens and blankets.

It has been a busy summer! Anyone else??

Finally back to creating unique items for my home. This box is missing it's lid but I have a vision for it. I am building a lid for it that will function like a seat. Then add some 4" feet and I will have a storage bench to put at the end of the guest bed. It will be a great place to store linens and extra blankets for that room.
