ADOPTION NEWS!! 🗞️ Gibson has been ADOPTED!! Pax has been ADOPTED!!
These two Shepherd Puppies were dumped in a swampy area of the Redlands. They were abandoned and left for days to fend for themselves while dealing with the elements and the bugs. I can’t imagine how these poor babies wound up discarded like trash because they are two of the sweetest, well mannered puppies. Many Thanks to Gloria Cabal who spotted them and reached out for help! Lady Luck Animal Rescue answered the call and Gloria sprung into action, went to the Redlands by herself and caught the puppies, put them in her vehicle and drove them to our vet, Lantana Atlantis Animal Hospital. Gloria is an Angel walking amongst us! Our boys spent a couple of nights at the vet and were neutered, microchipped and fully vetted. Pax was adopted before ever leaving the vet office. His new Dad had an approved application with our rescue and was waiting to meet the perfect pup for him. We had the boys meet him separately and Pax chose him to be his new Dad! He is bonding with his new Dad and participating in training classes and making friends at Petco and will be going to daycare. Gibson left the vet and went to our Amazing fosters Karen and Frank’s home in Jupiter. He recovered from his neuter and then discovered how much fun swimming in the pool is! He played with Karen and Franks dogs and truly flourished. Tonight, Gibson went home with his forever Dad! He’s a single guy who had a dog that was his whole life. His dog sadly passed away and it has taken him a bit of time to be ready to love again. Gibson stole his heart through pictures and FaceTime sessions with the fosters. Tonight this fabulous duo has been united and will complete each other’s lives! We are so grateful to our team of rescuers, medical staff, fosters and adopters for their role in making these adoptions possible. Happy Tails Boys! Your lives matter! ♥️🐾

You can apply for Thor at www.ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.
Thor is an adorable Domestic Shorthair male cat that was born approximately 2/14/2020. Thor and his two siblings were rescued from the shelter as babies. Thor and his brother Thor were adopted together 6 years ago but had since been returned as the adopter was moving out of state and couldn’t manage keeping them. Thor is a sweet, affectionate and confident boy. He’s a little more independent than Loki, but he still loves being near his people and getting attention when he’s in the mood for it. He’s very vocal and has a particular meow that genuinely sounds like he’s saying “hello.” Thor is the observer of the family. He wants to know absolutely everything that’s happening, but he doesn’t always need to be directly involved. He’s perfectly happy finding a good spot where he can watch everything and give you his signature side eye. At night, Thor would much rather sleep beside your head or take over your pillow than get underneath the blankets. He’s also the braver of the two and tends to look out for Loki. Thor is the thicker of the two boys but still has a long build, and his white nose makes him easy to tell apart from Loki.
Thor is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, f***l tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). He is litter box trained.
Thor is located at the Good Luck Cat Cafe (901 Progresso Drive, #202, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304). For more information contact [email protected] or text 754-366-3669. You can apply at ladyluckanimalrescue.org under the “Adopt/Foster” Tab.

Loki and his brother Thor were adopted together 6 years ago but had since been returned as the adopter was moving out of state and couldn’t manage keeping them. Loki is a sweet, affectionate boy with the perfect mix of independent and needy. He can be shy at first and likes affection on his own terms, but once he trusts you, he wants to be part of your world. He loves following his people around the house, rubbing against your legs and being right in the middle of whatever is going on. He’s also vocal and will definitely let you know when he has something to say. At night, his favorite place to sleep is underneath the blankets by your legs. He’s the more sensitive of the two boys and tends to look to Thor when he’s unsure about something. Loki is the slimmer of the two with a long build and a brown nose.
Loki is neutered, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, f***l tested negative, dewormed, and vaccinated (including rabies). He is litter box trained.

ADOPTION NEWS! 📰📢 Frankie has been adopted!! What a wonderful day today was thanks to Frankie’s AMAZING foster Mom Taylor Perodeau and our incredible Behavioral Dog Trainer, Shane Kirkwood-Contact #(704) 891-3176). You might recall Frankie’s story. Frankie was sighted for several weeks running loose in Hollywood Fl. He was fearful and only accepting food from a Detective and a Police Officer named Frankie (he’s named in honor of his hero), but not willing to be leashed. Ultimately, he was trapped by another rescue hero and sent to Pup Pit Stop with Jaime Nicole Lux. Jaime takes in dogs who have no place to go and gives them a chance to decompress while she works tirelessly to pair the dogs with rescues. It was through Pup Pit Stop that Lady Luck Animal Rescue stepped up to rescue Frankie. One of Jaime’s acquaintances saw her post on social media and offered to help by fostering Frankie for our rescue. We had no idea that this Foster Taylor Perodeau would be such a tremendous gift to Frankie and our rescue. This woman spent countless hours teaching Frankie how to be a dog. Frankie growled at new people out of fear, he had zero leash skills, he would not go in a crate, his car manners were terrible, we had no idea if he was dog friendly or not.. the list goes on and on with Frankie’s behaviors. Once we had Frankie neutered and fully vetted, we enlisted Shane to assess Frankie and figure out the unknowns. Turned out, Frankie is dog friendly! Frankie also stopped growling, learned to walk on a leash and even mastered being a good boy in the car! His transformation is why we rescue the dogs that we do. Frankie’s adopters saw him posted on a German Shepherd page four weeks ago. They instantly fell in love with our Big Teddy Bear. We explained that Frankie needed more training at that time and they were willing to wait until we were sure our Frankie was ready to be adopted. Today, was the long awaited day! Taylor and Shane drove to Ft Pierce to meet Frankie’s new mom and dad and their dogs. His new family drove 3 hours from their home in Dade City to meet them. They rented a “Sniff Spot”, to introduce the dogs in a safe, fenced environment. All of Taylor’s hard work and dedication to Frankie made today possible. It’s unconscionable to imagine how any human being could be so callus as to discard an animal and leave them to fend for themselves. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who cared for Frankie and didn’t give up on him. Rescues like Frankie’s require Teamwork and what a team we are Blessed to have! Happy Tails Frankie! Go and live your best life in your Furever home with your Mom, Dad and canine siblings! 🙌 So many people love you! ♥️
