Shawnee UMC

Thank you Braydn and Ryan for taking care of our church! 💛

Youth group serving like Jesus this Sunday!

Friendly reminder about this Sunday’s worship!

Reminder: This Sunday, 10/4, we will NOT be worshiping at the Shawnee UMC building! Instead, we will gather at Trinity UMC at 10 am along with the Trinity and Forest Park congregations for this year’s Worship in the World event! 🌎

We will meet at 10 am, then split into groups to go out into the community and worship God by spreading God’s love and generosity through acts of service like pitching in toward’s people’s groceries, handing out quarters and detergent at the laundromat, singing hymns in the hospital lobby, and more! There will also be a group staying at Trinity to pray, and another group staying to help make blessing bags. After worship, we will reconvene at Trinity to share our experiences and receive Communion together. ❤️

We encourage you to invite your friends and family to come serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus! 🤝

Come sing hymns and serve lunch with us at Our Daily Bread TODAY at 11 am!

(Always the first Thursday of the month!)

We celebrated 175 years this past Sunday! 🖤❤️🩶

We started with a blended worship that included a timeline of our history, recognition of some special folks, an anniversary certificate from the Ohio Methodist Historical Society, and of course, giving thanks and praise that we are here through the love of God combined with the blessings and faith of our ancestors.

Our worship was followed by a potluck lunch, our caramel bake-off, and a whole lotta fellowship 😋🍽️🍰

Snap any good photos this Sunday? We’d love to see them! Drop them in the comments below 👇

📸 Thank you Sam Heilers for these awesome photos and your incredible talent you always share with our church!

Our Ride & Dine Motorcycle Fellowship group had a delicious dine at our Homecoming potluck and then enjoyed a ride out to Suter’s for some delicious apple c***r slushies and donuts! 🏍️🍎🍁

Stay tuned on whether or not mother nature will grant us an October ride 🥶🎃

Why are you still awake?! It’s our Homecoming Service tomorrow morning!! ❤️🩶🖤

Get some sleep and we’ll see you at 10:30 am for our blended worship service in the Sanctuary followed by our potluck lunch and bake-off in the Centrum 🍽️
