Meet Amari, a proud graduate of Lima Senior High School! 🎓

This fall, Amari is headed to Defiance University to study Accounting, supported by two Lima Community Foundation scholarships:

📚 Lima City Schools – Teacher Scholarship, established by Lima City Schools teachers, staff, and administration to help graduating seniors continue their education.

📚 Sara Tullis Memorial Scholarship, honoring Sara Jane Tullis, a devoted mom of five who later worked as office manager at the UAW Hall and served two terms on the Lima City School Board.

Congrats, we're proud to be part of your story and can't wait to see where this next chapter takes you! 💙

Meet Amirrah from Lima Senior High School! This fall, Amirrah will attend Rhodes State College to study Dental Hygiene, made possible in part by the Lima City Schools – Teacher Scholarship through the Lima Community Foundation.

The Lima Community Foundation is honored to stand alongside our incredible community in bringing the Lima City Schools Veterans Wall of Honor to life.
The monument dedication was a powerful reminder of our nation's history and Lima’s profound legacy of service. A special thank you to Tamara Grace-Finch (Class of 1966), who shared the moving story of her graduating class during the Vietnam War era—when over 70 classmates enlisted or were drafted, and more than $11,000 was raised by the class toward this monument.
Completely funded by donations, this landmark tribute stands as a testament to community generosity. While the monument is fully paid for, ongoing contributions are still welcomed on the Lima City Schools website to support future maintenance and updates.

* To submit a name for the Wall of Honor: A form will be available on the website starting October 1, 2026.

Say hello to Brynn, a graduate of Shawnee High School! ☀️

Brynn is headed to Bowling Green State University this fall to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. Helping make that goal possible is the Monica Lynette Berger Teacher Education Scholarship, awarded through the Lima Community Foundation.

Created in memory of a beloved teacher who passed away at only 28, this scholarship celebrates her legacy by supporting graduating seniors from Lima Senior High School (her alma mater) and Shawnee High School (where she taught) as they pursue careers in education. 💙

So proud of you, Brynn! The future of education is in great hands.
