Ohio State Lima

Great to have Dr. Melissa Shivers, vice president for Student Life, and her associate VP Ryan Lovell, visit the Ohio State Lima campus!

Doc Shivers met with staff across student life, student success, outreach and disability services, touring many of the campus spaces she’s heard so much about. She left inspired by how much impact our team delivers for our 860+ students, and is excited to see how some of Lima’s successful programs can be adapted on a larger scale in Columbus!

Thank you, Doc Shivers, for stopping by and celebrating the amazing work happening right here in Lima!

The FAFSA is now open for 2027-2028! Ohio State's code is 003090. Priority deadline is February 1, 2027.

Designed to be casual and accessible, the event gave students a chance to drop in between classes, polish their resumes with career staff, enter door prize raffles, and chat directly with regional employers.
Local hiring managers from companies like Powerbuilt Material Handling, Lima Memorial Health System, and Perry Pro-Tech were on site to discuss internship and full-time career pathways.
