Lima Community Church

This year, Family Ministry is partnering with the Ronald McDonald House to provide toys, stuffed animals, and gift cards for kids who are either patients or siblings of patients staying at Ronald McDonald House. Every child (birth-18 yrs) gets to choose a toy or gift card, stuffed animal, and a handmade quilt. It's a simple way to bring a smile during a difficult time. Our goal is to collect 300 items. All items must be new (not used) due to the needs of children with very low immune systems. We're collecting toys and gift cards valued at $20-$25, along with mid-sized stuffed animals. Gift cards are especially helpful for the teens and can be from Amazon, Target, Wal-Mart, or Playstation. Let's help restock their "Toy Closet" while teaching our own kids about compassion, generosity, and sharing the love of Jesus with others. Items may be dropped off in any Family Ministry area from October 4–November 22.

Senior Single Mingle will meet at 1:00pm on October 7 in Journey Building 401. Bring a snack to share and come join the fun! Contact Verne Bellinger at 419-641-5992 with questions.

DivorceCare will be starting this upcoming Sunday evening, October 4 at 6:00pm. If you or someone you know is hurting because of separation or divorce, we invite you to come. There is hope, there is healing, and there is a God who walks with you every step of the way. Workbook is $20.

Join us on Wednesday, October 14, at 6:30pm for ABIDE: A Night of Worship! As one church family, we’ll celebrate God's goodness, lift our voices in praise, and draw near to Jesus through worship, prayer, Scripture, communion, and testimony. Centered on the words of Jesus, “Abide in Me,” this will be a night to rejoice in who He is, listen for His voice, and remain rooted in His presence. Come ready to worship, pray, celebrate & encounter God together!
