We’re incredibly grateful for programs like Power of the Purse that shine a light on women who are creating meaningful change across Arkansas. ❤️

Create Little Rock was honored to attend this year’s Women's Foundation of Arkansas luncheon and celebrate three remarkable women whose leadership and service continue to make an impact: Hon. Lottie Shackelford, Marsha Martin, and Mandy Macke.

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with inspiration, connection, and a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we invest in women and the communities they serve.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful event and such an important cause. We’re proud to celebrate alongside you! 👏✨

A big Create Little Rock congratulations to three incredible members of our community! 🎉

We’re so proud to celebrate Kerria Pippen of Literary Freedom Publishing and Kiana Waits of VCC Construction LLC as finalists for the Little Rock Regional Chamber’s Minority Young Professional of the Year award, and Destiny Haygood of The KKAC Organization as a finalist for Minority-Led Nonprofit of the Year! 👏

We love seeing their hard work, leadership and dedication recognized. We’re incredibly proud of all they’ve accomplished and know they’ll continue to make an impact and excel in their fields.

Congratulations, Kerria, Kiana and Destiny! We’re so proud to cheer you on! ❤️

✨ Create Little Rock Board Member Spotlight: Kiana Waits ✨

Meet Kiana Waits, a Create Little Rock Board Member and member of the VCC Construction team!

After moving to Little Rock from a small town, Kiana discovered that finding community made all the difference. Through Create Little Rock, she’s connected with an amazing network of fellow young professionals while discovering everything our city has to offer. ❤️

From Little Rock’s people and culture to its incredible food, shopping and endless things to do, Kiana says Create has helped turn a new city into a place that feels like home.

"I love Create Little Rock because it’s connected me with an amazing community of fellow young professionals. Moving here from a small town, navigating the capital city came with a few challenges, but finding such a welcoming community quickly made Little Rock feel like home. I love that I’m able to grow, explore, and experience everything the city has to offer- from great people and culture to even better food. Plus, there’s always something to do, and it doesn’t hurt that my favorite shopping spots are only minutes away!"

We’re so grateful to have Kiana helping Create Little Rock build connections, explore the city and make it easier for young professionals to find their place here!
