The Root at SoMa is excited to welcome ChickenPaw Plantery 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 22𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 10𝗮𝗺 - 2𝗽𝗺 to host a pop-up where you can explore and purchase the cutest succulents and cactus!

Backed by more than a decade of training and knowledge, ChickenPaw Plantery was founded by plant lady, Kayla Butterfield, in September 2021. It began as an intended single plant show to clear some greenhouse space after her plant collection got a little out of hand.

The very first ChickenPaw plant show took place in downtown Mountain Home and was an unexpected roaring success.

Now nearly 5 years later, ChickenPaw Plantery have gained a reputation for the very best in artistically designed cactus/succulent arrangements, lush leafy plants, sound plant care advice, fun plant show themes, and engaging plant workshops.

We’re back again this year to step it up and show out for Carver-Washington Magnet School’s Supply Drive! It’s become a tradition to partner with our local schools to ensure that students have what they need for a successful school year ahead, and we want YOU to join us to make a difference! ✏️📚🚌

Throughout the month of August, stop by The Root at SoMa while you’re out and about to drop off any donations that you may have lying around or have collected – we have a list of suggested items to choose from here!

And if you’re dining with us, we also have an opportunity to donate through our Change for Change Round-Up program, where 100% of the round up change in-store and online will be donated to Carver-Washington Magnet School for further needs.
