Disability inclusion belongs in the workplace, too!
From warehouses and factories to offices, job sites, and everywhere in between, Disability Rights Arkansas provides disability awareness trainings designed to help employers and employees better understand disability accessibility and inclusion.
Our trainings can cover topics like disability etiquette, reasonable accommodations, accessibility, communication, advocacy, and creating a workplace where employees with disabilities are respected and empowered.
Whether you’re leading a warehouse crew, managing a manufacturing floor, or building a company culture from the ground up, there’s always an opportunity to make your workplace more accessible.

Every child should be able to play alongside their peers.
We’re highlighting Hicks Park Inclusive Playground in West Memphis, a space intentionally designed to create a safe, and accessible place for children of all abilities. The playground offers ground-level play and mobility-friendly features, giving children with disabilities more opportunities to explore and play alongside their peers.
What makes this space especially meaningful is that West Memphis didn’t simply add an accessible feature to an existing playground. The city created a purpose-built inclusive playground with the goal of making sure children with disabilities have a place to enjoy the outdoors and be part of their community.
Hicks Park is a reminder that inclusive recreation doesn’t have to be complicated. It starts with making sure children and families have a place where they can show up, play, connect, and feel welcome.
We’re grateful to the City of West Memphis for investing in a playground where every child gets to be part of the fun.
