Three cheers for Anthony C out of Des Moines, Iowa! He’s our June 2026 Driver of the Month!

Anthony has been with us over 5 years now, and he still does a great job on his route each and every night. We love his attitude and greatly enjoy having him on our team!

We had a great time kicking off our Driver Appreciation Week celebration with an awards dinner Sunday at Saltgrass. We’d like to thank Motive for sponsoring the dinner. And, of course, we’d like to thank all our drivers, without whom none of this would be possible!

We had a great time celebrating National Driver Appreciation Week in Tampa and Miami last week. Napa supplied our amazing drivers with hats, water bottles and mini coolers. Meanwhile, they are also extending the celebration a week further by giving drivers free pizza this week as well! We also had a great dinner sponsored by Ryder.

It was smiles for miles. Our drivers were so happy!

We celebrate any time one of our drivers hits one million safe driving miles, so imagine how excited we are to celebrate Luis “Smiley” B and his 4 MILLION safe driving miles. What a monumental achievement!

Not only is Smiley a super safe driver, he’s also a total joy to work with. In his 28 years with CalArk/Central Hauling, Smiley has always approached his work with a positive attitude and an endless dedication to service. We feel so lucky to have him on our team.

We loved taking the opportunity this week to feed and celebrate our amazing drivers. National Driver Appreciation Week is a very special time for us at CalArk. This year we gave out awards, played bingo, ate delicious food, and had a blast. Plus, all of our drivers got snazzy new CalArk shirts! We can’t wait to celebrate again next year!

We want to make a special shoutout to Goodies Etc candy, generously supplied to our Driver Appreciation Celebration by Avenue Logistics. The event wouldn’t have tasted nearly as good without your amazing treats! Thank you!

We were recently thrilled to host a driver appreciation event for our Lithia Springs and Norcross staff.

Ryder sponsored our delicious food as drivers rose one by one to receive their special thanks and gifts. Meanwhile, we all enjoyed Chris' (Area Manager) entertainment. It was a great time had by all! Just our way to make sure our drivers know how important they are!
