💔 DEVASTATING UPDATE 💔
We have the heartbreaking news no one wanted to share… we lost our sweet little girl. 🥹💔
She fought so incredibly hard, but her fragile little body was simply too weak. We tried everything we could, including a plasma transfer, but unfortunately it was unsuccessful. She was also far too young to receive the monoclonal antibody treatment that may have helped her.
We are completely devastated. These babies were supposed to have a chance, and losing her has absolutely broken our hearts. 💔
Thankfully, her brothers are doing well right now, and we are praying they continue to fight and pull through. 🙏🏻
These puppies are being fostered in New Mexico by LuckyCharm Microfarm, who is partnering with Pound Pitties Dog Rescue to care for these babies and give them every possible chance. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and for everything they are doing on the ground for these little ones. ❤️
But we still need your help. We have a significant emergency vet bill from trying to save this little girl, and we still have ongoing medical expenses for her brothers. We will continue doing everything we can for these babies, but we cannot do it without our village.
If you can donate, even $5 makes a difference. ❤️
Please keep the boys in your prayers and, if you’re able, help us with their continued care and the bill for their sweet sister.
Run free, little girl. You were loved, you were fought for, and you mattered. 🌈🐾💔
Thank you to everyone who has already donated, shared, prayed, and cared about these babies. We are beyond grateful. ❤️

💔 THE ROSWELL PUPPIES ARE SICK. AND THEY ARE VERYSICK. 💔
Our four-week-old Roswell puppies are crashing.
Our little girl is in particularly bad shape and had to be rushed to the emergency vet yesterday. Their white blood cell counts are dangerously low, and the vets are concerned they may have parvo.
This was completely unexpected—but sadly, coming from Roswell, we aren’t surprised that these babies arrived with more going on than we could see.
They are only FOUR WEEKS OLD and weigh barely 2 pounds. They are far too young for vaccines, and you cannot vaccinate a sick puppy. Right now, they need intensive medical care, monitoring, and time to fight.
And we are going to give them every chance we possibly can.
These babies have already been failed by humans. They didn’t ask to be born into a situation where they were left vulnerable and sick. They are innocent little babies who deserve the chance to grow up, be loved, and know what a safe life feels like.
We know you’re probably tired of seeing us ask for money. Trust us, we are tired of asking. But emergency vet bills don’t care whether our rescue account is prepared for them.
We cannot look at a four-week-old puppy who is fighting for her life and say, “We can’t afford it.”
So we’re asking for help.
Whatever you can spare—$5, $10, $20—can help us keep getting these babies the care they need. If you would rather donate directly to the veterinary hospital, you can also call the vet and make a donation toward their bill. We are happy to provide the hospital information privately.
We love these babies. Our hearts are absolutely breaking watching them fight this hard.
Please pray for them. Please share them. And if you can help with their emergency medical care, we would be incredibly grateful.
We are praying that all of them make it through this.
They deserve their chance. ❤️🩹🐾💔
Want to donate directly to the vet? Their contact info is on the estimate! You can also Venmo us, PayPal or Zelle us! Info in comments! 💜

October is Pitbull Awareness Month!
Show us your pitties! 💜

These 4-5 week old babies were abandoned in the Roswell shelter. No mama to nurse them and snuggle them. Just discarded as their life didn’t matter!
This is truly heartbreaking.
If we can find fosters or foster to adopt homes for them, they can get their ticket to CO.

💜Adoption news! 💜
His name was Prince Caspian at the shelter, but we named him Cale.
This boy was obviously nothing more than a lawn ornament in Texas. No one had ever shown him what it was like to actually be a dog. He had never really had a chance.
Then I saw that face on the euthanasia list. 🥺 And I couldn’t resist.
We tagged him for rescue, and Kurt stepped up to foster him in Texas, giving this sweet boy the safe place he needed while we figured out his next chapter.
Then Alex stepped up in Colorado and welcomed Cale into her home. She worked with him, gave him patience, love, and guidance, and helped him learn that being a dog could actually be pretty damn awesome. And he was doing SO well. 🥹💜
Then came Aaron and Todd.
They kept asking about Cale, and after seeing all of Mateo’s adorable pictures of him, they just knew they needed to meet this boy.
And when they finally did…
That was it. ❤️
The rest is history.
Cale went from sitting on a Texas euthanasia list, never having been given the chance to be a dog, to finding two people who saw exactly what we saw in him from the very beginning.
Aaron and Todd chose him. They loved him. And now they get to give him the life he always deserved. 🏡💜
It took a whole village to get this boy here — Kurt in Texas, Alex in Colorado, Mateo behind the camera, and Aaron and Todd waiting at the end of his journey.
And that’s the beautiful thing about rescue.
Sometimes we don’t know exactly where a dog is going when we say YES.
We just know we can’t let them die without ever knowing what love feels like.
Happy tails, sweet Cale. 🥹💜
You hit the jackpot, buddy.
We love you, and we’ll be right here cheering you on for the rest of your life. 🐾💜

Today we welcomed Koda into Colorado!
And let me tell you… this boy is LITERALLY the sweetest dog. He loves people, he loves dogs, and he is absolutely soaking up his new Colorado life already. 🥹
Koda loves our Colorado foster’s kiddos, and all this boy wants to do is kiss, kiss, kiss, get pets, and play with his dog friends. He is the absolute cutest, and those little bottom teefers?! 🥹
They might just be the cutest thing ever!
This boy is a gem!
A HUGE thank you to Paula and Angela for all of your help with him while he was in Texas, and to Susan and Brooke as well! We appreciate every single one of you who helped get this sweet boy here. 💜

Due to Cale's size, we recommend a home with children ages 13 and up.
If you have experience with dogs, are willing to continue working with a trainer, and would love to give this incredible boy the forever home he deserves, please apply today! 🐾

💙 REMEMBER SMOKEY!? 💙
This sweet senior boy was saved at the very last minute in Fort Worth, and now he’s looking for someone to open their heart and give him the loving home he deserves! 🥹🐾
Smokey is 9 years old, 65 pounds, and an absolute dream of a dog! He’s the kind of easygoing boy who just wants to be loved, enjoy some short walks, and spend time with his people. 💙
Here’s what we know about this handsome guy:
🐾 9 years old | 65 lbs
✅ Neutered
✅ Vaccinated
✅ Microchipped
✅ Small-dog friendly
✅ Big-dog friendly
✅ Cat friendly
✅ Potty trained
✅ Crate trained
✅ Enjoys short walks
👶 Kid tested: Not yet
And when we say he’s the easiest dog, we mean it! 🥹 Smokey is such a sweet, deserving senior who has already been through enough. He deserves a soft place to land, a family who will love him, and a forever home where he can enjoy his golden years.
Can anyone open their heart to this sweet boy? 💙
We know senior dogs can sometimes get overlooked, but Smokey has so much love left to give. He doesn't need a marathon runner or someone looking for a high-energy dog. He just needs someone who will appreciate his gentle nature and give him the life he deserves.
🏡 Smokey needs a loving foster or forever home in the Denver metro area.
Please share this boy far and wide! Let's find Smokey the family he's been waiting for. 💙🐾
