I am overwhelmed by the love and support y’all have shown Light In The Darkness Ministries!! Our partners are the BEST !!
We made an appeal for help with purchasing interlocking, padded chairs and y’all came through. Even the cost of shipping was covered.
Donations were received from 2 businesses, 8 churches, and 44 individuals. Some people bought several chairs, but most bought 1-5 chairs. It really touched my heart to read that you wanted to purchase a chair in honor of each of your family members. If you ever come to Roatán, we will seat you in a place of honor!

Let me begin this post by saying, Thank You to everyone who has supported and has given specifically towards the building of our church, Iglesia Faro de Esperanza.
Within the last 8 months, we have made significant progress on our building. We have entirely completed the first floor and Sanctuary! We are grateful and we give God all the praise for His provision through His people.

Here’s where we are now. It is our desire to transition from plastic chairs to padded, interlocking chairs. We would love to have these permanent chairs before our church dedication in August. Each chair costs approximately $38 and we need 200. Our friends and fellow laborers in Honduras, the Brothers Sumner, contacted us when they found exactly what we need. We are working with a vendor on the mainland of Honduras to obtain a discounted price for quantity and also determine the delivery cost of sending them by cargo ship to the Island.
