Lockport Resource Center

Hello Resource friends!!!

Parking lot improvements continue this week. Please be mindful of cones and such. It's all in the name of your safety and convenience.

The back door drop off will be unavailable at times, you can bring donations in through the front door. Days will depend on weather.

A note as you head out today - the parking lot has been refreshed and that part is marked with cones. You may need to park a little further away please.

We love our new space, our clients and our volunteers.

Also 2 for Insider Bags begins Monday!!!!

Notice to our customers - the parking lot is being sealed so part of it will be closed tomorrow, September 8. Still plenty of space available.

In observance of the Labor Day Holiday, the Lockport Resource Center and Pass It On Thrift Shop, are closed today, Monday September 7.

We will reopen tomorrow, September 8. If you are in urgent need of assistance, please PM this page or email [email protected].

A reminder - it's not always what you consider to be big, but what someone else does...

Good morning Resource Fans!!!

We are proud to announce our second Transformation Scholarship Recipient for 2026. Hailey Bird is a Lockport Township High School grad and will be attending Aurora University to study nursing. We ran into Hailey at our Annual Bicycle Sale and she shared her story, including being a shopper at our Pass It On Thrift Shop.

We congratulate Hailey on her success and wish her all the best in her studies.

Due to the severe weather, the Pass It On Thrift Shop will be closing early today. Please stay safe!

Happy Sunday LRC Fans!!! What a weekend - here's a little recap.

First, thank you to the kind donor that shared their cookie jar collection! These generated quite the buzz, including shoppers lined up when the door opened. They're all gone, but the stories will live on and new people will enjoy them.

Second, thanks to everyone who came out to our Annual Christmas in July sale. We had Christmas music, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Easter, Valentines and more! We reduced the inventory by 30 tubs! Don't worry, we still have plenty and I'm sure we'll get more. A huge shoutout to our volunteers, Margie, Anne, Caleb, Yoli and new volunteer Jodi!

We even had an impromptu lemonade stand pop up across the street. This is a tradition we will definitely continue. Thanks to our friends in the strip for supporting our zaniness!

We ask that you now hold Fall-O-Ween themed donations until September 1 and Christmas until October 1. This allows us to manage space in the shop.

Thank you all and we hope to see all our new friends soon!!

Some enterprising youngsters have set up a lemonade stand across the street. Rumor has it they give a discount if you are an LRC customer...
