School is back, and so are our high school food pantries. 🎒

For teens who face food insecurity, these pantries can be the difference between focusing on class or focusing on hunger. Thank you to Alta Bank for sponsoring this work, and to everyone who helps keep these shelves stocked.

Quesadillas are the ultimate "what do I have on hand" meal.

Two tortillas, a handful of cheese, and whatever veggies you've got in the fridge. Ten minutes later, you have lunch. This version leans into fresh tomato, avocado, and cilantro, but the format is endlessly flexible.

Cache Valley, we could use your help.

We're looking for regular Tuesday afternoon volunteers to sort produce with us from 12:30 to 3:30. It's a small time commitment with a big ripple effect. Fresh food gets to families faster, and our team gets a hand.

Email Matt at [email protected] if you're in.

Feeling like you can't do enough? You can.

A single bag of groceries. An hour of your time. A dollar donated. A friend you told about the pantry. Every little bit counts, and every little bit adds up.

Do your bit. We'll be here. 🤍

Summer is almost over. The need at the pantry isn't.

Help us stock the shelves before the school year begins. Donate at cachefood.org. 🤍

Ever wonder what's actually in one of our backpacks?

Every Friday during the school year, elementary students across Cache Valley take home a bag packed with breakfast and lunch items designed for them to prepare on their own. Cereal. Granola bars. Fruit cups. Microwaveable meals. Peanut butter and crackers. Milk that doesn't need refrigeration.

Simple, kid-friendly, and shelf-stable. Enough to get them through the weekend without waiting on anyone else to help.

For some kids, that bag is the difference between Friday afternoon and Monday morning. Thank you for helping us pack it. 🤍

That's why bobbing for apples works, and why the fruit bowl feels heavier than it should!

Got a free Tuesday afternoon?

We're looking for regular volunteers to help sort produce from 12:30 to 3:30. It's hands-on, low-pressure work that keeps fresh food moving from our warehouse to Cache Valley families.

Interested? Email Matt at [email protected].
