🌟 CPRS Leadership Summit 🌟

A few of our CPRS Aging Section Board members had a great day at the CPRS Leadership Summit! 💙

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, connect, share ideas, and be rejuvenated alongside fellow recreation leaders from across California.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to come together, strengthen our leadership, and bring that energy and inspiration back to the important work we do supporting and enriching the lives of older adults in our communities.

Here’s to continuing to learn, lead, and make a difference in the aging community!

🌟 SENIOR HIGHLIGHT 🌟

The Seniors of Legacy Commons in the City of Palmdale showed us what staying active and connected is all about! In celebration of National Senior Health & Fitness Day, more than 80 seniors braved the cold and wind to get outside, get moving, and walk a few miles together. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

One of the highlights of the day was seeing so many City staff members along the route cheering our seniors on and encouraging them every step of the way!

After crossing the finish line, everyone warmed up with a light breakfast and some sweet fellowship—the perfect ending to a morning filled with fitness, friendship, and community.
Way to go, Legacy Commons seniors! You continue to inspire us to stay active, stay connected, and keep moving!
