Clay is a full service ceramics studio in downtown Long Beach. The goal of clay is to start a pottery & DIY revolution. We have an updraft gas kiln and we we fire at a Cone 10 reduction which means that we have the top of the line equipment for your use. We are very affordable and we have plans that fit every price range. We host parties, and are good with kids.

In this workshop, you’ll use the pottery wheel to shape your own ceramic tumbler or to-go cup, then handbuild a straw or sip lid to finish it off!

Kids will build their pieces from scratch, learn the sgraffito pottery techniques, then finish them off with spooky sgraffito designs + glazing throughout the month.

Looking for an experienced, reliable instructor to lead our Saturday PM class on an ongoing basis.
Temporary Halloween Teacher — “Clay of the Dead” 💀🎃
Seasonal position teaching our Halloween-themed classes, starting September 25th. Must have availability Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday for the run of the series.
