In case you were planning on going to the Resilience Lab class this Sunday, it was postponed one week, due to the heat and our lack of air conditioning, which we're waiting for the landlord to fix.

For the last 2 Saturdays, we've had a flat tire on the bus, so last week we missed DeForrest and this morning we missed Grace. So sorry!! Please help Bit.ly/give-lbct

We're out there every weekend making sure our neighbors have fresh food, toothbrushes, soap, socks, rain gear and more. Don't hesitate to come by if you're in a tough financial situation this week! That's why we're here!

We know that when basic needs are met, people can live with WAY less mental and physical stress and perform better in the present.

Want to give back to Long Beach or care for those in need without giving money or hours of time?

If you grow produce - we'll come to you, do all the work to harvest, give you as much as your heart desires, then distribute the rest :) Simply email [email protected] and we'll arrange a time to come by!

If you have some hygiene products to spare - we're running low!! Please come by our warehouse during any Open Pantry time (Tues/Wed 5:30-7 pm, Fri 12-4 pm, Sat 12-2 pm) to drop them off. We are looking for dental hygiene, body and haircare and feminine hygiene.

If you didn't already know how special Long Beach is... now you know.

As an organization focused on providing for those that need it most, it's our least favorite thing to do to ask for money. We understand how the economy is impacting everyone. We know how hard it is to spend money on things that don't feel ESSENTIAL right now. Trust us, we feel the same way.

But you've overcome that because you recognize that caring for you community IS essential.

The kids on your street deserve to go to school with food in their bellies.

The elderly dealing with skyrocketing medical bills with social security deserve to eat too.

The person who lost their job to AI that suddenly can't afford rent - yep, we think they deserve access to free, fresh food too!

And anyone in between.

The truth is, investing in those that NEED the support is the best way to keep Long Beach happy, healthy and safe.
