Green Wisdom

Hey folx! Im excited to share a new THREE DAY Intensive that I’ll be teaching with my friend, Integrative Practitioner Khan Ramkeesoon . If you’ve been struggling with sleep, or just want to expand your understanding of sleep processes, this is for you. We will dive deep into the intricacies of sleep, learn how to understand what our own body needs for optimal sleep, and from that how to create our own personalized comprehensive sleep protocol using a wide range of tools and modalities. Read more about the weekend, and sign up, at the link in bio. I hope you’ll join us for this journey into the Art of Rest!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY REKARA!! Today is the day that the world received the extraordinary, brilliant, and completely delightful bundle of gifts that is our shining . If you’ve ever visited us here at the apothecary you’ve likely been lucky enough to meet Rekara, to hear her passion about herbs and healing, to laugh with her infectious and joyful and abundant laughter, to see her eyes light up as she tells you another story about one of her favorite herbs. Rekara is my right hand—I could not do what I do without her. Our community, and every community she graces, is enriched immeasurably by her. Rekara, we uplift you today, and celebrate your presence in the world. I am so thankful for you. We all are. 💚😻🙏🍃🥳

For our Monday Morning class peeps, I’ll miss you today but there’s just a lot going on. I’ll see you next week in person or on YouTube! 🙏💚🙏. -Julie

I spent the day in the desert yesterday with some of my first-year students. A glorious and delightful day that couldn’t have been more beautiful. So profoundly grateful for these amazing people who I love with my whole entire heart, and for the sacred work I get to do.

On the wall at my gym. Coach Leo is always promising, never delivering—pizza, that is. Oh sure, I’ve gained over 5 pounds of lean mass in 3 months and recovered amazing mobility and strength Ive never before had, where two years ago I was walking with a cane, sure. BUT WHERE’S THE PIZZA, LEO????

New earlier hours start today!

Spent today hiking in the mountains, clear and crisp after the “rain” and one of the most gorgeous days I’ve seen in a long time. Soothes my soul, being outside with the trees.
