THIS is what Community Over Competition looks like.

Another great Longview Connections morning filled with energy, conversations, new connections, familiar faces and a whole lot of smiles.

A huge thank you to Kaylee McAlister w/Motion Church for sharing the heart and mission behind Kicks for Kids. What started with serving just a handful of local children has grown into something making a real impact right here in our community.

Kicks for Kids is helping put brand-new shoes on the feet of local children while reminding them that they are seen, loved and valued.

Want to be part of it? Check out the Kicks for Kids information in the photos and scan the QR code to get involved. Whether you give financially, volunteer your time, or simply help spread the word, there is a way to make a difference.

And thank you to everyone who continues to BE IN THE ROOM, build relationships, support local and help make Longview Connections what it is.

Community Over Competition means more than doing business together. It means showing up for our community together.

LONGVIEW CONNECTIONS — FIRST THURSDAY MEETING

Your next client, referral partner, connection, friendship or opportunity may already be in the room.

Join us this Thursday, October 1st, for another morning of CONNECTIONS, COMMUNITY and OPPORTUNITY at Longview Connections.

If you have been looking for a place to grow your network, build real relationships, learn more about the people and organizations making an impact in East Texas, and experience what COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION really looks like, this is your invitation.

Come be in the room.

Bubba’s 33, Longview

Doors open at 8:15 AM

Meeting begins at 8:30 AM

Our featured speaker this week is Kaylee McAlister, sharing the story and mission behind Kicks for Kids. Kicks for Kids began in 2012 with a heart to serve just 12 local children. Through the generosity of donors and the support of our community, that outreach has grown tremendously, serving nearly 500 children this past year. Kaylee began volunteering with Kicks for Kids in 2018, and the mission quickly became very close to her heart. She is now in her fourth year overseeing and organizing the outreach through Motion Church Longview Tx. At the heart of Kicks for Kids is something simple but incredibly powerful, meeting a practical need while making sure children and families throughout Longview know they are seen, loved and valued. This Thursday, we will get to hear more about how Kicks for Kids has grown, the people behind it, the impact it is making right here in our community and why serving others continues to be such an important part of the mission at Motion Church.

And that is exactly what Longview Connections is about.

Yes, we want to grow our businesses.

Yes, we want referrals, opportunities and new connections.

But we also want to know our community, support one another, learn where the needs are and discover ways we can make a difference together.

That is COMMUNITY OVER COMPETITION.

AND COME HUNGRY!

The LC BRUNCH BUNCH continues this Thursday.

We will draw a business card during the meeting, and that person gets to choose where we head for brunch immediately afterward.

Anyone who is available is invited to come along for more conversation, more laughs and more relationship building outside the meeting room.

Sometimes the connection that changes your business starts with a handshake.

Sometimes it happens over brunch.

Either way, you have to BE IN THE ROOM.

Yes, Longview Connections is about networking, building relationships, supporting local businesses and being there for one another, but we are so much more than that.

We believe in Community Over Competition.

We believe there is always something we can learn from one another, something we can share with one another, and another opportunity to make a difference in the community we all call home.

Sometimes that means a referral, an introduction or helping someone grow their business. Sometimes it means showing up when somebody needs support. And sometimes it is simply sharing an idea that reminds all of us how easy it can be to give back.

Pay it forward, pay it backward, sideways, upside down, however you want to say it, just find a way to pour into somebody else.

That is the kind of community we are building.

Longview Connections is about business, absolutely, but it is also about belonging, relationships, generosity, encouragement and people genuinely wanting to see other people succeed.

Come be in the room and see what Longview Connections is really all about.
