Cowlitz County Event Center

We'd love to see you at our upcoming open rides and dog shows! The arena is located at the south end of the grounds at 1900 7th Avenue Longview WA 98632.

Please note: Unless your horse (or pup) is able to produce $100 bills in its waste, please come prepared to clean up after them (hay included) 🤗💩🌾

If you are a veteran in Cowlitz County, come to the Cowlitz County Veteran Stand Down and find some amazing community resources!

So honored to continually host the Cowlitz Tribe's annual Powwow. What an important community event!

For the better part of a decade, the Cowlitz County Event Center has been home to the Cowlitz Indian Tribe Powwow, and we’re grateful for the care, hard work, and partnership their team brings to this special gathering each year.

From helping prepare the grounds and facilities to supporting the many details that go into welcoming our community, dancers, singers, vendors, and guests, their work helps make the Powwow the wonderful event it is.

We appreciate all they do and look forward to returning to the Cowlitz County Event Center this Saturday September 26th, 2026 for another meaningful day of culture, community, and celebration.

We host many events throughout our nearly fifty-acre campus. From rodeos to galas, rallies to fashion shows, our grounds have seen a lot come to life. The one thing they all have in common? Volunteers.

Those that show up without expectation of anything in return. There are countless planning and production meetings, details that are ironed out, decor that is placed (sometimes even made at home or on site!) and a tremendous number of unseen hours that go into every single event you see.

Thank a volunteer next time you see one, or better yet? Find your favorite organization and ask how you can get involved!

We love working with Summerland Catering Services, and know you will too!

Join us for the 4th Annual Cowlitz County Resource Fair!! October 8, 11:00-2:00

We can't wait for you to deck our halls! December is holiday party season around these parts, and we love seeing what you do with our 24,000 square feet of event rooms.

If you're looking for a space to hold a holiday soiree, don't delay! Dates are nearly full for December, with some availability in January.
