Pine Tree ISD Student Immunization Clinic

Need to get your student's required vaccines before school starts? Join us on Wednesday, August 5, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. at Pine Tree Primary School.

The clinic will offer required immunizations for students, including those entering 7th grade. Please register in advance using the QR code or link on the flyer.

Buckner Longview is hosting the School Supply Train on Saturday, August 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at ROC First Baptist Church of Longview (209 E South St, Longview, TX 75601)

Stop by to receive school supplies and shoes. There will also be lunch provided and free resources offered:

• Vision screenings
• Haircuts
• Local school districts
• And more!

Parents will need to bring their own ID and a proof of enrollment for each child. In-person registration upon arrival at the event.

Pine Tree speakers and debaters showed out at the Texas Speech and Debate camp hosted on the UT Tyler campus! They worked on performance speeches and debate cases and skills, earning the following awards:

VARSITY CROSS EXAMINATION DEBATE
2ND PLACE: Alexander Gonzalez-Ortiz and Jacobie Humphrey
QUARTERFINALISTS: Averie McQueary and Ava Walker

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
Averie McQueary earned the "Hungry, Hungry Caterpillar" award for asking the best questions.

PROSE
1ST PLACE: AJ Jennings
AJ also earned the "Stand Up and Speak Out" award.

We’re looking for used horseshoes and old bicycle chain/gear chain to be transformed into incredible student welding projects during the upcoming school year!

Instead of letting these items collect dust or end up in the scrap pile, consider donating them to our welding program. Your donation will give our students hands-on experience while creating unique metal art and welding projects.
