Congratulations to Alex Chen, our September Senior Student of the Month!

Alex is an outstanding example of dedication, leadership, and commitment. He is currently among the leading students in the senior class academically while also taking on leadership roles in several UIL Academic events, competing as the #2 boys tennis player, and balancing the responsibilities of a job. His ability to excel in the classroom while being actively involved in academics, athletics, and work speaks volumes about his determination and strong work ethic.
We are proud to celebrate Alex and all he is accomplishing during his senior year!

Allison Vasquez is honoring Coach Robertson tonight.
"Coach Robertson is an amazing teacher. He genuinely cares about every student. When I saw his name on my schedule for my senior year I got so excited. Thank you for being an amazing teacher! “

Alexis Richardson would like to honor Mr. Kelley.
"I wanted to thank and show my appreciation for Mr. Kelley. During my sophomore and junior years of high school, he was always a reliable teacher and person. I knew I could go to him for help with anything school related or not. His positive energy is very contagious and he would always cheer me up even on bad days. Even when I am no longer a student that takes his class, I know I can always go into his classroom, and he’ll brighten up my day. I’m forever grateful for the lessons and energy he brought into my life. I know he’ll be my favorite teacher now and forever."

Serenity Barrett is honoring Mrs. Darden.
Mrs. Darden has had a positive impact on my life by believing in me when no else would and always telling me to be kind.

Kylie Spurger is honoring Mrs. Cubine.
"Mrs. Cubine has made a positive impact on my life by always encouraging me and helping me believe in myself. She makes me feel comfortable asking questions and never makes me feel bad when I don’t understand something. She has taught me to keep trying even when things are difficult and has helped me become more confident in myself."

Jaleya Sparkman would like to honor Chef Chelsea tonight.
"My culinary teacher has had a very positive impact on my life because she always makes class fun and exciting. She is such a welcoming person and always makes everyone feel comfortable with open arms. She makes me feel like I can be myself and learn without feeling judged. I love how she brings happiness into the classroom and makes every day feel special. She has taught me more than just cooking; she has shown me the importance of kindness, patience, and believing in yourself. I’m truly grateful to have a teacher like her because she makes me feel valued, supported, and happy to come to class."

Zee Smith is honoring Coach Murphy.
Coach Murphy has always been a positive role model and mentor in my life. He holds me accountable for everything I do pushes me to be the best I can be! He not only helps me physically but mentally as well! I appreciate him for everything he has done for me! Thank you, Coach Murphy!

Addyson Saunders is honoring Tabitha Robertson.
" I am so grateful I got to have you as my teacher in 5th grade and again my senior year! You’ve helped me understand so much more about science and taught me lessons that go beyond the classroom. Thank you for being such a special teacher and making an impact on my life! I will never forget you and the differences you’ve made! "

Rylee Benson is happy to be able to honor Mrs. Ravolette tonight.
"She was my 8th grade math teacher, and I will never forget how confident she made me feel. Even when she was at her lowest, she would always let me sit at her desk and ramble about my problems. She never failed to show up and show out for me. She continues to have an impact on my life and I will always be grateful for a math teacher like her."

Jadelynn Armas is also honoring Mrs. Ravellette.
“Mrs. Ravellette has always been so kind, caring, understanding and generous to me. She always reminded me that things weren't always as big as they may seem at that point in time. She truly impacted my life in such a positive way. I will always remember her as sweet teacher and person. Thank you for being such an amazing person in my life and everything you have done for me. "

Bryleigh Mayhan would like to honor Mrs. Holder for teacher appreciation tonight.
"Mrs. Holder is always a positive person, every single day she has a smile on her face and is ready to help kids in any way. She’s one of the nicest souls I've ever met and I aspire to be like her. "

Blair Schroeder is honoring Mrs. Phillips.
" Mrs. Phillips, you have really impacted my start of sophomore year, by creating a classroom that feels like home. I love how you are always helping and kind. I love how you’re honest when I ask stupid questions. Thank you for everything you do for me and the people around us."

Khylee Briggs is pleased to honor Ms. Watson tonight for Teacher Appreciation.
“I really appreciate you Ms. Watson, for always being there and helping me whenever I need it. You are such a kind and caring person, and I’m grateful for everything you have done for me while in high school.

J’Nihya Stanton is honoring Mr. Glaze.
"I appreciate Ms. Glaze because she is always so kind and caring to me. She always knows how to make me laugh, even when I’m having a bad day. She encourages me and always uplifts me when I need it the most. I love how she makes her classroom a fun and comfortable place to be. She is not only a great teacher, but also someone who makes a positive difference in my life. I am very thankful for Ms. Glaze and everything she does for me and her students."

Carly Chadwick is honoring the late Ms. Sommerfeld.
"I wanted to show my thanks and appreciation to Ms. Sommerfeld. I’m so thankful I had the opportunity to be one of her students and to know someone who made such a difference in everyone’s life. She taught me lessons both in and outside of the classroom that I will carry with me forever. Her impact will always be a part of who I am and I will always remember the way she cared for me and my friends around me. Thank you for everything, you will never be forgotten. Also, I would like to appreciate Mrs. Harrington for all that she has done for me. I know how special Ms. Sommerfeld was to you, and it means so much to have you here walking with me and honoring her."
