Team Exalt driver Mason Fuller doing work at worlds!
Fuller tops the first round of Seeding! 🏁🔥
As the track looked a lot slower than yesterday it was Mason Fuller who did not get the memo and went to the top with a margin of 6 tenths over three laps! David Ronnefalk had a few heaters in him but could not string them together and he settled for second. Davide Ongaro seemed to be comfortable and could string together his fastest laps but was just lacking pace compared to the first two which we rarely ever see from him.
__________________________
The biggest surprise of the round by far was the young Mayako driver, Nate Sutherland who put together two incredibly fast laps and with that scored 5th for the round. The usual suspects around the top 5, Chase Lemieux and Brandon rose placed 7th and 6th in front of a gang of Europeans sandwiching the Tennessee native Jonah Wilson.
It seems that the the Italian Kyosho drivers love something about these morning rounds similarly to David Ronnefalk where as yesterdays FP6 pace setter Burak Kilic seems to always struggle in these ones. The track was significantly slower this time around than even yesterdays first round which we could see the Other guys much closer to Davide Ongaro. Im suspecting Davide will be back in his usual form for round 2 as the track gains some grip back.

X27 — FUN FACTS
Available 2nd week of October!
One of the features we’re especially excited to share about the new Team Exalt X27 27T Brushed Motor is something you may never notice from the outside—but it was important to us when developing this motor.
When the stakes are on the line and competition gets intense, racers naturally push equipment to its limits. Unfortunately, sometimes those limits can get pushed beyond what the rules intend.
That’s why we implemented an additional safeguard into the X27. A hardened epoxy is applied at the commutator to help prevent the comm from being twisted or repositioned to advance the motor’s timing for a performance advantage.
The X27 was created for classes where affordability, consistency, and equal competition matter. We want racers focused on their driving, setup, and racing—not wondering whether someone has found a way to modify the motor internally.
Fixed timing means fixed timing.
It’s another small detail we've incorporated into the X27 with one goal in mind:
Keep the racing close. Keep the competition fair. Let the driver make the difference.

⚡ NEW TEAM EXALT EXA3219 — X-***ED POWER WITH 6MM CONNECTIONS! ⚡
Introducing the new Team Exalt EXA3219 8800mAh 195C 7.4V Stick Battery, designed for demanding RC applications where capacity, current delivery, and connection quality all matter.
One of the biggest upgrades is the new 6mm bullet design. Compared with traditional 5mm connections, the larger 6mm connection provides more contact area to help:
🔌 Reduce electrical resistance
🔥 Reduce heat buildup at the connection
⚡ Minimize voltage loss under heavy loads
💪 Handle higher current demands more efficiently
🏁 Deliver a stronger, more consistent connection throughout the run
As today’s motors and ESCs continue to demand more current, the battery connection becomes increasingly important. A poor or undersized connection can create resistance, and resistance creates heat. The EXA3219’s 6mm design helps current flow more efficiently—making it especially beneficial for high-power 1/8-scale vehicles and dual-pack configurations using a jumper.
🔋 8800mAh Capacity
⚡ 195C Discharge Rate
🔥 270C Burst Rate
🔌 New 6mm Bullet Connections
📏 139 × 47 × 25.1mm
⚖️ 332g
🏁 7.4V 2S LiPo
More capacity. Better current flow. Less resistance.
The new EXA3219 delivers the power, runtime, and connection serious racers need when performance matters most.

Team Exalt X27 27T Fixed Timing Brushed Motor
Team Exalt is excited to announce the release of the X27 27T Fixed Timing Brushed Motor, the official motor that will be used in the Busch Class.
These motors are expected to be available toward the beginning of October and will be listed on the Team Exalt website no later than October 7th.
I have been around my fair share of racing programs and classes that are designed to promote equality and close competition. With this motor and this class, our goal is to keep it exactly that way.
There will be no hand-picked motors.
There will be no special team-driver advantage.
There will be no discounted pricing advantage for anyone.
The MAP price will be $17.49 for all drivers, and that includes Team Exalt drivers as well. Everyone will purchase under the same pricing structure so the playing field stays fair and even.
Distributors and hobby shops will also be required to follow MAP pricing. Any violations of this policy will result in removal of the right to sell the X27 motor.
This program is about affordable racing, equal opportunity, and keeping the focus where it belongs — on driving, setup, and great competition.
We are proud to support the Busch Class and look forward to seeing these motors hit the track this October.

2026 TEAM ASSOCIATED VINTAGE CHAMPIONSHIPS — THAT’S A WRAP!
What an incredible week in Las Vegas at the 2026 Team Associated Vintage Championships!
Team Exalt had a great group of drivers representing us throughout the event. Darren Windsor, Ryan Harris, and Patrick Rossiter, Gene Strout and more all had great results this week and did an awesome job representing Team Exalt both on and off the track.
A huge congratulations goes out to JR Mitch, who put together an outstanding weekend in the 1989–1993 2WD Stock class, taking the TQ and the WIN! Getting it done at an event like this with so many incredible vintage cars and talented racers makes it even more special.
Beyond the results, this event reminded us what RC racing is all about. Walking through the pits and seeing so many beautifully restored and preserved cars brought back a lot of memories. We also had the opportunity to meet racers and Team Exalt supporters from all over, including some who traveled over from the UK. It was great finally putting faces to names and seeing how far the support for Team Exalt continues to reach.
A massive thank you and congratulations to Team Associated and everyone involved in putting this event together. The amount of work that went into creating an event of this size and bringing so many generations of RC racing together was incredible. From the atmosphere and organization to the racing itself, they did an amazing job making the Vintage Championships feel like something truly special.
For us, it wasn’t just another race. It was a chance to celebrate the history of RC racing, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and remember why so many of us fell in love with this hobby in the first place.
Congratulations again to JR, Darren, Ryan, Patrick, and everyone who competed this week.
Old cars. Great memories. Great people. And one unforgettable weekend. 🏁
Thank you, Las Vegas, and thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported Team Exalt!
