Two Dupont Manual High School students are turning creativity into community impact! 🌸❤️

They’re making and selling beautiful handmade flowers at local farmers markets to raise money to purchase much-needed first aid supplies for SOS.

We’re so grateful for their generosity and initiative! If you’re out at the farmers market this weekend, stop by, support their work and help them support SOS. 🩹🌼

Check out their flyer below for details!

Partnerships make more impact possible! ❤️

We were happy to welcome Antonio Booker, Chief Clinical Officer, Jessica Bland, Community Outreach Manager, and the Hometown Connect Louisville West team to SOS recently. Their team came to pick up two essential pieces of medical equipment they had requested—a patient scale and vital signs monitor—that will help support the individuals they serve.

We’re honored to be a resource for helping get surplus medical equipment where it’s needed most.

After a devastating car accident left Peggy from Salem, IN unable to use three of her four limbs, she needed a wheelchair to safely leave the hospital and return home. Without health insurance, not having one could have meant an extended stay in a rehabilitation facility at an overwhelming cost.

Thankfully, her Molina Healthcare care manager Serena was familiar with SOS, and we provided Peggy with the wheelchair she needed to receive care at home with her loved ones.

It is beyond gratifying to see how our neighbors lives are touched by our work. The work YOU help make possible. Thank you💛

📚 As schools across Kentucky prepare to welcome students back, SOS is stepping up to equip the next generation of healthcare professionals with hands-on learning resources.

In just the past week, we donated more than $50,000 in medical supplies to schools in nine counties —from eastern to western Kentucky. While these items have passed their date for clinical use, they provide invaluable, real-world training opportunities for thousands of students in high school and post-secondary healthcare programs.

By giving these supplies a second life, we're reducing healthcare waste, supporting educators, and inspiring tomorrow's healthcare workforce. 💙♻️

Without this loaner chair, Lynn's patient may have lost her job. Stories like this are why we work so hard to supply mobility and medical equipment to those in need.

Partnering with organizations like JenCare allows us to reach the most vulnerable patients and help them sustain a level of independence and quality of life.

Your donations, our volunteers, and our team all come together to make this possible, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Did you know the medical supplies donated to SOS aren't ready to use the moment they arrive?

Every item must be sorted, inspected, packaged, and distributed before it can change or save a life. Your financial support powers that entire process—helping keep valuable medical supplies out of landfills while getting them into the hands of people who need them most.

Your donation makes our work possible.💙 Donate today: https://soshealthandhope.org/donate/

From our Louisville warehouse to Ghana—another shipment is delivering health and hope. 🌍

Filled with nearly $400,000 in medical equipment and supplies, this container has arrived at Madonna Catholic Clinic in Ejitsu, Ghana where nearly 20,000 patients receive care each year. Through our partnership with Love the Hungry, it also includes 14,000+ fortified meals to support families facing food insecurity.

Thank you to everyone who makes these life-changing shipments possible.💙
