Support your favorite non-profit organizations while having the time of your life! Visit the Science Spectrum’s fundraising stands for Funnel Cakes and Fried Cheese Sticks before washing it down with a refreshing freshly-squeezed strawberry lemonade! Delish!

Teddy Bear Repair was a huge success! So many stuffies were fixed and cared for today. A special thank you goes to Above and Beyond Pet Care Hospital for joining Science Spectrum to repair some well loved stuffies! 🐻

Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal in need of care to the ExploraZone on the main floor of Science Spectrum Museum for a day of repair, care, and check-up fun!

Don't forget! FabLab's 3D Printing 101 Workshop is THIS WEEKEND!! Your 6-15 year old engineer won't want to miss this fabulous fabrication workshop.

Students will take a deep dive into the world of 3D printing. Complete a design challenge using 3D printing software to create a solution to a real-world problem. This workshop is designed for students with a previous background in 3D printing and/or CAD modeling.

Children are encouraged to bring their favorite stuffed animal in need of care to the ExploraZone on the main floor of Science Spectrum Museum for a day of repair, care, and check-up fun!

There, stuffies and their children will find:
A Repair Station - This station will be available for stuffie check-ups, to fix tears, stuffing loss, and button/eye replacements.
An X-ray table where kids can identify their own stuffed animal’s heart, brain and stomach.
An Accessories Craft Table - what is a day out with your stuffie without a little pampering? Kids can make neck ties, purses, and friendship bracelets for their stuffie!
An Animal Obstacle Course! Children will be challenged to imitate how their stuffed animal would make its way through an obstacle course!

This event is geared towards children ages 2-8. You can find Teddy Bear Repair activities in the ExploraZone next to the Lubbock Children’s Museum on the main floor of the Science Spectrum Museum.

This event is included with standard museum admission.
