The fourth oldest building on Texas Tech's campus now has signage that honors its past.

The Human Sciences Cottage was built nearly a century ago for College of Home Economics students to practice skills such as cooking, cleaning, gardening and even childcare. This legacy earned the building a Texas historical marker, a milestone that was recently celebrated.

Bubba Jennings gave Texas Tech and Red Raider Basketball fans five memorable years during the 1980s.

In return, the university helped prepare him for a lifetime of successes, many of which came because of his love for the game.

As a first-generation student, Lesley Harris at times felt that earning a degree was out of reach.

After almost 24 years removed from when she began college, Lesley crossed the stage this May summa cm laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business.
