🎂 Happy Birthday, Rev. Troy Perry! 🎂

Today, the entire MCC global family pauses to celebrate the life, legacy, and birthday of our beloved founder, Rev. Troy Perry!

In 1968, moved by a profound vision of God’s all-inclusive love, Rev. Perry gathered a handful of people in a Los Angeles living room. From that single spark of faith and revolutionary hope, a global movement was born—proving to the world that you can be unapologetically q***r and deeply faithful.

Because of your courage, Troy, millions of LGBTQ+ people around the world found a spiritual home, realized they were beloved children of God, and stood up for their civil rights. You didn't just build a church; you saved lives, broke barriers, and rewrote the history of faith and activism.

You reminded us so powerfully that our thoughts are the sacred seeds we plant while tending the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Moving forward, we choose to nurture that divine harvest and turn our hearts away from the weeds that seek to choke our growth. We are so blessed by your words! 🌱🙏
