June 15, 2026 Rating and Forecast
Rating: 7/10 - downgraded for heat - Randy’s grade. You can grade the heat whatever you would like. 🤣🫣😉🥵
Forecast: Clouds have streamed in this morning due to a system well to our north in BC. Partly sunny and warm/hot with record breaking daily high temps potentially. Much cooler Tuesday with the marine push.
Photo taken yesterday from Artist Point to help keep everyone cool.
How about this view today?

Heat coming today (and tomorrow) with temps in the low to mid to even upper 80s (away from the water and foothills). Heat advisory will go into effect this morning through Tues morning. I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone get close to or hit 90 in east county (the populated part and not the actual mountainous east county lol).
Rating: 7/10 - downgraded for heat - I don’t like heat so that is the final rating and no changing it for me lol.
More heat Monday - cooler on Tuesday with onshore push. Low temps Sun and Mon night will be warm with some places maybe not getting to the 50s and staying in the low 60s.
Pic: another photo of the cactus with 40+ blooms - see post on Saturday for more info.

Look at this!! My friend sent me a text yesterday that his echinopsis cactus was fully blooming, so I took some photos of it! I counted over 40 blooms on it. This cactus basically blooms in full for one day a year.
