All About Animals Rescue

🚨 PLEASE SHARE — JAKE IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A PERSONAL ASSISTANT. 🚨

Qualifications are simple:

✔️ Must know where the treats are kept
✔️ Must provide comfortable furniture
✔️ Must be willing to say “Who’s a good boy?” several times a day
✔️ Must understand that personal space is probably overrated

Meet Jake. 😂❤️

Jake has reviewed his résumé and would like everyone to know he is VERY employable.

🐾 Walks great on a leash — no water-skiing lessons required.

🐾 Dog friendly — because Jake believes coworkers make the workplace more fun.

🐾 Professional-level smile — seriously, look at that face. He looks like he just heard somebody say “Want to go for a walk?”

Jake is basically looking for someone who wants a handsome best friend without having to be dragged down the sidewalk like a runaway shopping cart.

He’ll bring the personality.
He’ll bring the friendship.
He’ll bring that giant goofy grin.

You just need to bring him HOME.

👇 COMMENT, SHARE & TAG YOUR DOG-LOVING FRIENDS! Jake cannot operate Facebook himself because apparently “having paws” is still an acceptable excuse for not learning how to type.

Let’s find this handsome goofball his person. 🐾❤️

Match your couch to your dog. Work smarter, not harder.

** UPDATE- Application pending

WESLEY HAS BEEN PROMOTED TO 4 MONTHS OLD. 🎉

His résumé remains suspiciously impressive:

🐶 Dog friendly
🐱 Cat friendly
👧 Kid friendly
❤️ Professional people-lover
🚽 Potty training department is still under construction

He’s currently in a foster home, but Wesley is ready to accept a permanent position as Somebody’s Spoiled Baby.

Message us to apply for Wesley! ❤️🐾

Meet SANDOR. ❤️

Sandor is 5 years old and apparently showed up with a résumé we didn’t ask for.

Within approximately five minutes, he had:

✔️ Nailed the perfect sit
✔️ Smiled for the camera like he’s got a toothpaste sponsorship
✔️ Worked EVERY angle like this was his senior portrait session
✔️ Met dog after dog after dog… and did GREAT with every single one

So congratulations, Sandor. You’re hired. 😂

Our brand-new resident has already become one of our DOG TESTERS because he is just THAT GOOD with other dogs.

And would you LOOK AT THIS HAPPY FOOL?! 😂❤️

Seriously. Swipe through these pictures. This man does not have a bad angle. Mouth open. Mouth closed. One ear up. One ear sideways. Big cheesy grin.

SANDOR IS READY FOR HIS CLOSE-UP.

But more importantly, he’s ready for a HOME.

He’s 5 years old, handsome as heck, knows how to sit, loves making friends and has enough personality in that one ridiculous ear to carry an entire page.

👇 COMMENT & SHARE so Sandor’s ridiculously happy face lands on his future family’s screen.

POTATO UPDATE: A FEW SPUDS HAVE LEFT THE SACK.

We’re down from 7 potatoes to 4.
Apparently the produce is moving. 😂

FOUR SMALL POTATOES REMAIN. 🥔🥔🥔🥔

💗 2 girls
💙 2 boys
🐾 10 weeks old
🧸 Lab mixed with a smaller terrier
🤏 Petite, ridiculously soft & still shaped suspiciously like potatoes

We would like these potatoes moved before they sprout into full-sized dogs.

📍 Macon, GA
Message us to adopt.

PLEASE SHARE. THE PRODUCE AISLE MUST BE CLEARED. 🥔

BOBBY HAS BEEN CLEARED BY MANAGEMENT.

We regret to inform you that Bobby has passed his dog test AND his cat test. 😑

This is unfortunate because he was really counting on having some sort of character flaw to keep him here indefinitely.

✅ Heartworm negative
🐶 Dogs? Fine.
🐱 Cats? Also fine.
👨‍👩‍👧 Humans? Unfortunately, he likes those too.
📸 Taking pictures like a normal dog? Absolutely not.

Bobby continues to serve facial expressions ranging from mildly inconvenienced to “I’d like to speak to whoever approved this photo shoot.”

At this point, we’re running out of excuses for why this ridiculous little man is still here.

Somebody please adopt Bobby before he passes another test and becomes management.

🚨 SOS FOR HONEY. WE NEED SOMEONE TO SAY YES. 🚨

Honey desperately needs a foster or adopter.

Her skin has been a battle, but after a lot of care, we are FINALLY starting to see improvement. She still has healing to do, and what she needs most right now is a safe, stable home where she can keep making progress.

And y’all — Honey is not asking for much.

🐾 House trained
🐾 Crate trained
🐾 Heartworm negative
🐾 Dog friendly, although she does best with calmer dogs

She needs a soft place to land and someone willing to give her a chance.

Can’t commit to adoption without knowing if she’s the right fit? WE DO TRIAL ADOPTIONS. Come meet her. Take her home. Give her a chance to show you who she is outside of the rescue environment.

We are begging people not to scroll past Honey because of her skin.

Underneath it is a good dog who desperately needs somebody in her corner.

FOSTER. ADOPT. TRY A TRIAL ADOPTION.

We just need someone to say, “I’ll take Honey.”

📍 Macon, GA
💌 Message us if you can help.

And PLEASE SHARE. Honey needs more than likes right now. She needs a home. ❤️

These two are going to be best friends for many years to come!

Momma Hannah is relieved to see these babies leaving. Momma is tired.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO Renee Corwine & Abbey's Angels Macon

Our shelves and a whole lot of hungry bellies are a little fuller thanks to Renee Corwine and Abbey’s Angels Macon who so graciously brought us an incredible donation of dog food and treats. 🐾

But we also want everyone to know a little more about the heart behind this donation.

Abbey’s Angels Corp was created to raise funds and community awareness to support nonprofit animal rescue groups and other animals in need throughout Central Georgia. In other words, Renee is out there helping the people who are trying to help the animals—and that kind of support means more than we can say.

And check out the Good Boi Gallery at Ocmulgee Brewpub! 🐶🍻 The Gallery gives people a fun way to show off their beloved pups while helping support local pets in need. We absolutely LOVE the idea.

Please return the love by following Abbey’s Angels on Facebook, checking out the Good Boi Gallery, and learning more about their mission and ways to support them at AbbeysAngels.org.

Renee, thank you for thinking of our dogs, for showing up with a vehicle FULL of goodies, and especially for creating something that lifts up animal rescues throughout our community.

Rescue really does take a village and we are incredibly grateful Abbey’s Angels is part of ours. ❤️

🐻🧡 MERCER BEARS SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT! 🧡🐻

A huge thank you to the Mercer University students who spent their “Be a Good NeighBEAR” Day of Service with us!

They helped clean out our warehouse, completely tackled the cat house — including that back room 😅 — and gave our puppies plenty of love. 🐶💕

They even helped us create social media content because our regular volunteers cannot be expected to walk dogs, prep transports, do meet-and-greets, answer 847 messages and be funny on the internet every day. 😂

We’re so grateful for the extra hands, hard work, and great attitudes.

Thanks for being very good NeighBEARS! 🐻🐾
