In 1977, Tony Bennett came to Macon to film NBC’s King, the miniseries about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and appeared as himself 🎬 Bennett was a lifelong supporter of the Civil Rights Movement, and he marched in Selma in 1965.
He was here in Macon for a story that mattered, and we’re bringing his music back for his 100th birthday year. Join us October 23 at Macon City Auditorium 🎶 tickets available here: bit.ly/MPBennettTables
